ПОЯСНИТЕЛЬНАЯ ЗАПИСКА

В данной методической разработке представлен материал для проведения онлайн- Олимпиады по учебной дисциплине «Иностранный язык» среди обучающихся 1 курсов всех специальностей.

Основными целями онлайн - Олимпиады являются:

Образовательные цели:

- углубление знаний;

- проверка знаний;

- совершенствование качества подготовки специалистов.

Воспитательные цели:

- воспитание интереса к учебной дисциплине;

- возможность каждому обучающемуся участвовать в Олимпиаде.

Развивающие цели:

- развитие у обучающихся творческих способностей;

- развитие умения анализировать, обобщать и делать выводы;

- развитие познавательной активности;

- развитие внимания, памяти, воображения, логического мышления.

Онлайн – Олимпиада включает  два этапа:

1 этап Олимпиады проводится в системе дистанционного обучения  «Электронный университет» в период с «26» мая по «27» мая 2020г. К участию в 1 этапе допускаются все желающие. На данном этапе обучающиеся выполняют тестовые задания, для прохождения которых дается 2 попытки. В каждой попытки 25 тестовых вопросов с выбором только 1 правильного ответа. За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл, максимальное количество баллов в 1 этапе –25.

Критерии оценивания результатов 1 этапа:

Оценка «3» ставится при правильном выполнении от 50% до 70% тестовых заданий;

Оценка «4» ставится при правильном выполнении от 70% до 85% тестовых заданий;

Оценка «5» ставится при правильном выполнении от 85% до 100% тестовых заданий.

2 этап Олимпиады этап  проводится «30» мая 2020г.  в системе дистанционного обучения  «Электронный университет» в режиме онлайн с использованием платформы Zoom. К участию в данном этапе допускаются обучающиеся, набравшие не менее 85% в 1 этапе.

Во 2 этапе обучающиеся выполняют задания по чтению, тест по страноведению и лексико-грамматический тест. Каждый правильно выполненный пункт оценивается в 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов во 1 этапе – 54.  

По результатам прохождения олимпиады участники получают грамоты и дипломы

за 1, 2, 3 места. В случае равности баллов участники  делят призовое место.

The history of the word «Hobby»

1.      The word owes its origin to a small horse called «hobby». A hobby-horse was a wooden toy which children rode like a real horse, hobby. From this came the expression «to ride one’s hobby-horse», meaning «to follow your favorite pastime», and in turn, hobby in the modern sense means activity for enjoyment.

2.      There are hobbies for every personality, lifestyle and budget. Popular hobbies often involve collecting items like coins, stamps, baseball cards, working with your hands like sewing, embroidery or performing an outdoor activity like clowning, hiking or bird watching.

3.      Creating something useful or making things for decoration can be both practical and funny. Acting, play writing, poetry, playing an instrument, collecting music CDs or writing song lyrics are all good ways to spend a quality time. Radio controlled model cars, airplanes, helicopters or boats have opened up a wide spread, interesting activity.

4.      Board and card games like chess are a great way to stimulate your mind and meet new people. Just remember that the most important thing is that you have fun with whatever hobby you choose!

Living a Long Life

It is often said that Japanese people, on average, live much longer than Europeans. To a large extend this must be due to the food most Japanese people eat since from the point of view of the life-style, life in modern Japan is no less stressful than ours in the west. The Japanese live on a diet largely made up of fish and rice. At lunch-time a typical Japanese family will consume at least twice as many vegetables as we do in Europe. In comparison with Europeans, the Japanese eat far less meat and fewer potatoes; at the same time, they eat seven times more fresh fish than we do which make their diet much healthier by far. It would be fair to say that, in general, the Japanese consume far less sugar than Europeans, though the modern Japanese — frequent visitors to Europe on business or for pleasure — are discovering the pleasures and dangers of western-style eating habits.
