Формат
языкового конкурса «Master of English»
Современные
исследования по педагогике и психологии ставят эффективность обучения в прямую
зависимость от мотивации учения. Среди основных задач, стоящих в настоящее
время перед каждым педагогом, нет другой более важной в то же время более
сложной, чем задача формирования у студентов положительной, устойчивой
мотивации, которая побуждала бы к упорной, систематической учебной работе. Это
особенно важно при изучении иностранного языка. Поэтому главная задача,
которая стоит перед преподавателем, это раскрыть творческий потенциал
студентов, найти такие дидактические средства, которые пробуждали бы
мыслительную активность студентов и интерес к иностранному языку.
Внеклассная
работа по английскому языку является одним из эффективных средств решения этих
задач. Общение вне урока, во время подготовки какого-либо мероприятия
предполагает более близкое общение со студентами, являясь тем самым важным
воспитательным моментом. При подготовке к данному мероприятию мною учитывался
высокий интерес студентов к информационным технологиям.
Основные действующие лица:
- ведущий
(задаёт вопросы и контролирует ответы)
- ассистенты
ведущего (следят за очередностью ответов зрителей)
- жюри
- команды
(3 человека; у каждой команды – капитан )
Раунды.
1. «Introduction»
Участники брейн-ринга представляют себя.
Получают за представление 3-5 балла. Затем путем жеребьевки формируются
команды
( три команды по 3 человека). Количество
баллов полученных за представление суммируется и зачисляется на счет команды.
2. «Listen and Answer»
Разминка. 24 вопроса с кратким
ответом, воспринимаемых на слух. Речевая разминка позволяет участникам настроиться
на работу и поближе познакомится друг с другом.
Ведущий задаёт вопрос.
Сразу после этого команды могут начинать сигнализировать о том, что готовы
отвечать (капитан поднимает руку, флаг, шарик и т. п.). За каждый верный ответ
начисляется 1 балл. Если команда даёт неправильный ответ, то другие команды могут
снова сигнализировать о готовности дать свой ответ. Команда, предложившая
неверный вариант, теряет право ответа. Если готовых отвечать команд больше нет,
то на вопрос могут ответить зрители.
Во время разминки у
членов команды есть возможность присмотреться друг к другу так как после
разминки командам необходимо выбрать капитана.
3. «Reading and writing»
Командное испытание: отдельное задание для
каждой команды. Оцениваются навыки поискового чтения и написания небольшого
рассказа.
4. «Listening»
Единое задание для всех команд. Просмотр
видео фрагмента, выполнение задания. Оценивается навык выборочного аудирования.
5. «Speaking»
Командное испытание: отдельное задание для
каждой команды. Проверяются навыки неподготовленного диалогического
высказывания.
6. «Phonetic»
Индивидуальное испытание:
отдельное задание для каждого члена команды. Оцениваются произносительные навыки.
7. «Words List»
Индивидуальное испытание:
отдельное задание для каждого члена команды. Оценивается словарный запас
участников.
8. «Grammar»
Командное испытание: общее
задание для всех команд. Оценивается знание грамматики английского языка.

Тема: Брейн-ринг “The Best”
Внутридисциплинарные
связи: хобби, каникулы, внешний вид.
Методическая цель: Использование
нетрадиционных методов обучения иностранным языкам.
Цели
мероприятия:
Образовательная:
-расширить лингвострановедческий
кругозор студентов через страноведческую информацию;
- научить использовать в речи уже
знакомые лексические единицы, связанные с тематикой данного этапа и с
соответствующими ситуациями общения;
Развивающая:
- развить речевые способности студентов в
процессе овладения языком;
- создать условия для развития навыка
понимать основное содержание аутентичных аудио- или видеотекстов
познавательного характера, выборочно извлекать из них необходимую информацию;
- научить осуществлять поиск и
использование информации, необходимой для эффективного выполнения
профессиональных задач, профессионального и личностного развития. (ОК
4.)
-развить способности самостоятельно определять задачи профессионального и личностного
развития, заниматься самообразованием, осознанно планировать повышение
квалификации (ОК 8.)
Воспитательная:
- формирование уважительного отношения к языку,
культуре народа, говорящего на этом языке;
- формирование понимания важности изучения
иностранного языка;
- воспитать
умение работать в коллективе и команде, эффективно общаться с коллегами,
руководством, потребителями. (ОК 6.)
- воспитать
чувство ответственности за работу членов команды (подчинённых), результат
выполнения заданий (ОК 7) .
