Разработка урока английского языка

по теме «Готовимся к устной части ЕГЭ»

11 класс

Раздел 2 «Relationship»


Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент (С 1).

Приветствие. Знакомство с целями урока.

The aim of our lesson today is speaking practice so that you could pass your English exam successfully.


II. Речевая зарядка (С 2). Беседа по фотографиям на слайде. Языковая догадка. Семантизация словосочетания “peer pressure ”.

Look at the slide. You can see some photos under the title “Peer pressure” here.

  1. How do you understand the phrase “peer pressure”?

  2. Have the pictures anything in common?

  3. What is different about them?

  4. Is there a special photo here? Why?


III. Расспрос по фотографии (С 3).

Would you like to know more about this special photo? Let’s ask Julia and Valeria for details about it. In 1, 5 minutes you are to ask five direct questions to find out the following:

  • When they took the picture

  • Where it was taken

  • What the event was

  • Who suggested the idea to take the photo

  • If they had a lot of fun there.

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

If you need some grammar support, look at pp.7, 20.


IV. Монолог описание по ситуативным фотографиям (С 4).

You can see 3 examples of peer pressure in the photos here. Imagine that you took them in your neighbourhood. Choose one photo to present to your friend.

You will have to start speaking in 1, 5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes. In your talk remember to speak about:

  • when you took the photo

  • what/who is in the photo

  • what is happening

  • why you took the photo

  • why you decided to show the picture to your friend.

You have to speak continuously, starting with: “I’ve chosen photo number…”

For grammar and lexical support look at pp.11-12, 20.



IV. Монолог-рассуждение с элементами противопоставления (С 5).

Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:

  • Give a brief description of the photos (action, location)

  • Say what the pictures have in common

  • Say in what way they are different

  • Say which of the walks presented in the pictures you’d prefer.

  • Explain why.

You will speak for not more than 2 minutes. You have to speak continuously.

For lexical support look at p.16.


V. Аудирование с охватом общего содержания (учебная песня “Peer pressure Ex.1, p.SS1; Tr.24). Обсуждение (С 6-7).

Listen to the song now and say:

  • What is it about?

  • Do you agree with the statement above?

  • What makes someone a good friend?

  • What should/ shouldn’t you do to be a good friend?

Now you know how to be a real friend. Let all your friends be tolerant and understanding.

VI. Подведение итогов урока (C 8). Выставление оценок.

  1. Well, OK. Now what can you say to sum up the ideas of our today’s lesson?

  2. What about your personal progress and results?
