Методическая разработка открытого урока английского языка

Цели:

1.     повышение мотивации к изучению предмета «Иностранный язык»;

2.     обобщение и закрепление пройденного материала по теме “Hobbies”;

Задачи урока:

Познавательный аспект:

• Развитие культуры устных выступлений.

Развивающий аспект:

• Развитие мышления, памяти, творческих способностей обучающихся, мотивации к изучению иностранного языка
• Формирование потребности пользоваться иностранным языком как средством общения и самореализации, познания и социальной адаптации.

Воспитательный аспект:

• Воспитание толерантного отношения к иным взглядам своих одногруппников.
• Формирование ценностных ориентаций.

Учебный аспект:

• повторение лексического материала по теме «Хобби» и отработка его употребления в речи;
• совершенствование коммуникативных навыков по теме;
• совершенствование навыков чтения и говорения с различной стратегией.

Личностно-ориентированный аспект:

• развитие умения сопоставлять факты;
• создание условий для развития навыков общения и совместной деятельности.

Тип урока: урок-игра.

Формы и виды работы: фронтальная, групповая.

Оборудование урока: проектор, раздаточный материал с текстом, карточки со словами и заданиями.

Ход урока.

1.     Организационный момент. 5 min.

-  Good afternoon boys and girls! I am  glad to see you. Sit down , please. We start our unusual lesson. We will play a game. Today we’re having a contest of two teams. They want to know who is better at English.

- What date is it today? – Today it is the twentieth of April.

- Who is on duty today?

- Who is absent today?

- Ok! Thank you. Look at the blackboard and read  and translate these words.

What unites all these words in the web?

 

-I think you have already guessed the theme of our lessons. What is it?

- It is hobby.

- That's all right. Today we speak about the things that people like to do, about different hobbies that people enjoy in their free time.

Hello. My name is Karina. I’m 17 years old. Every morning I go to school and when I return around 2 p.m. I do my homework for tomorrow and then I’m free to do what I like. I like doing different activities. For example, I like playing chess, I enjoy attending the swimming-pool, I like cooking, I like  reading books. However, I should say, I have three serious hobbies. The first hobby is the ping-pong. I’ m a very good player of table tennis and I have already won several prizes for this game in the region. My second hobby is painting. When my mum noticed my interest she took me to the city Art School which I then started attending. It’s been six years already since I first went there, and now I’m really good at picturing objects.   And my third hobby is collecting bright and interesting magazines for girls. My parents always buy them for me or order by mail, and my friends who know about my passion to magazines, also bring me some editions. I have already 75 (seventy-five) samples of these magazines and when I have some free time I gladly read them.

They can have different books: fiction, historical novels, books about animals and birds, books about different countries. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the world and understand people better. (Reading)

3.     This hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps, badges, coins, pictures and dolls. Their collection can be thematic. This hobby helps people to make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds, famous people and historical events.(Collecting)

4.     This hobby is popular with the people of all ages. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground. They are strong and healthy. Their hobby helps to develop their mind and body and teaches them to plan their time.(Sports)
