Тема: “Some words about
Great Britain”
Все этапы я постаралась объединить лексической темой “The United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland”.
При
проведении мероприятия преследовались следующие цели:
Методические цели занятия:
Проверка уровня знаний студентов по лексической теме “ The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”..
1.
Совершенствование навыка аудирования (восприятие общего
содержания текстов).
2.
Формирование навыка понимания и озвучивания видеосюжета.
Воспитательные цели:
1.
Развитие духа командного соревнования.
2.
Воспитание способности коллективного выполнения задания.
3. Формирование и
развитие организаторских способностей учащихся.
Культурологические цели
1.
Знакомство со странами изучаемого языка
Ход мероприятия:
Teacher: Good afternoon
everybody. I’m glad to see you at the youth conference. As we’re learning
English language we decided to connect this conference with Great Britain and
its countries . And the aim of our conference to know about the life in these
countries. And now welcome to our meeting. I’m a leader of the conference.
First of all I’d like to ask you some questions.

What do you know about the United Kingdom of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland?

What countries is the UK made of?
-
What are their capitals ?

владеют на данном этапе)
T: Well! Would you like to know more?
S-s: Sure! Of course !
T: Now please look at your tables, here you can see the
cards. During our conference you’ll listen to the competitors from the Oxford
University with their reports about the countries. Your task will be the same
you’ll have to note down the information which you’ll know about the countries.

T: Let’s start. Let me introduce the first competitor of
our conference. It’s me. I would like to give you some information about the
UK.

for your attention. It’s very impressive. And the next competitor of our
conference is Dasha. She’ll tell us about England.

Thank you for your information. England is a wonderful country with its
traditions and customs. Please answer my question. What is the most famous
group from the Liverpool?
Now
we’ll listen to the song “Yesterday”. It is one of the legendary songs of this
group.

is a magnificent country of the island. And the last report for today is about
Northern Ireland, it’s the smallest country of the British islands.

information. We’ve heard all the information about these countries. Now I’ll
give you some minutes to finish your cards.

the map of Wales and the map of Northern Ireland. Also you can see the names of
the capitals, the names of the big cities, the names of the flags and the
pictures of the flags, the names of the symbols and their pictures . Your task
will be the same, answering my questions you must fill the maps.

названия городов, рек, животных, задавая вопросы, студенты отвечают на них и
прикрепляют соответствующее название к карте.)
T: Well! And what
can you say about these countries, your impressions.
(Участники
выражают своё мнение по поводу каждой страны.)
T: Now we see that
the maps are full of information about English these countries and you know
more than before. And I hope you’re visiting one of these countries or may be
all of these countries in the nearest future. As we know “SEEING IS BELIVING”.

T: At the end of
our conference I would like to thank you for your attention. And I would give some words to our guests. (вручаются грамоты за участие в
