The aim of the lesson: 1. To increase students’ knowledge about recipe.

                                   2. To identify recipe vocabulary.

Presentation of new grammar: To practice sentences with present simple.

Presentation of new lexica: To enrich the active vocabulary to the pupil’s on theme food and drink.

Visual aids: interactive board, books, cards, posters, CD.

Type of the lesson: mixed lesson in a competition form.

Procedure of the lesson.

I. Organization moment.

T. Good afternoon children! I’m glad to see you.

P. Good afternoon teacher! We are glad to see you too.

T. Sit down, please. Who is on duty today?

P. I am on duty today.

T. Who is absent?

P. All are present.

T. What date is it today? What month is it now?

What day of the week is it today?

II. Checking up the home task.

1. Do you have your class in the morning or in the evening?

2. Where do you have your lunch?

3. Do you take your snack with you?
4. Do you have a canteen at school?

Now, tell me please about our school canteen.

III. New lesson. My favorite recipe.

First of all listen and sing. A sing  “At my friend’s house”.

1.  I’m at my friend’s house to eat and play.

     But the food isn’t what I eat each day.

     I rarely eat carrots. But I’m eating them right now.

     I didn’t know I liked them. But I really love them now.

     I usually drink water. But I’m drinking juice today.

     I didn’t know I liked to have fruit this way.

     I’m at my friend’s house to eat and play.

     The food is delicious, what a wonderful day.

Ingredients: 150 g flour, 125 g sugar, 50g cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 3 eggs, 125 g butter, 75 ml Milk.     How to make it: Mix the butter and sugar together. Beat the eggs and add them, little by little to the butter and sugar.     Add the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and mix well.     Add the milk if needed.     Bake in a moderate oven for about 25 minutes.

2. Today we have unusual lesson. All of you look at the active board and try to answer my question. How do you think is the theme of today’s lesson?
