  The theme of our lesson is “How do you get to…?”

Today we’ll speak about transports and do different tasks.

We have two teams. And we find who will be winner and the best.

We have 5 stations

Every right answer is your star.

Let’s begin our lesson.

Brainstorming:

Teacher: Do you like to travel?

Teacher: How can people travel?
Pupils: by plane; by ship; by train; by bus; by car…
Teacher: And what about you? why?
Pupil 1: There is nothing like traveling by sea.
Pupil 2: I am fond of traveling by plane because it is very fast.
Pupil 3: I like to travel by train because it is comfortable
Pupil 4: I like to travel by car because it is cheap

Pupil 5: I like to travel by bus because it is interesting

III.Жаңа сабақ  

The 1^st station. Lexical station               

 Teacher: I think it’s time to prepare our luggage.

( platform, ticket, driver, railway, road, bus stop, traffic lights, sleeping car)

Teacher: Look at the board. There are three suitcases and here you can see some words and word expressions. You should pack the 1st suitcase for traveling by bus and the 2nd one for traveling by train.3^rd for both

Use these words, please. 

Bus stop             traffic lights      sleeping car            railway

road           platform

             ticket            driver

Let’s read the words belonging to the traveling by bus. (road, bus stop, traffic lights)
Let’s read the words belonging to the traveling by train. (platform, railway, sleeping car)

Let’s read the words belonging for both: (driver, ticket)

 

  The 2^nd station. Auding station

T: Read the dialogue.

Olympic games  

Ò Alex: Do you watch The Olympic Games on TV ?

Ò Robert: Yes, I do. Now, Olympic Games are going in Sochi.

Ò Alex: Yes, you are right. Do you know about five rings the symbol of Olympic Games?

Ò Robert: They`re blue, black, red, yellow and green.

Ò Alex: What do that colors mean?

Ò Robert: The blue is Europe, the black is Africa, the red is     America, the yellow is Asia and the green  is Australia

Ò Alex: It`s so interesting… I want to go to Sochi.

Ò Robert : How do you get there?

Ò Alex: I can go there by taxi or by bus . And  by train or by plane. 

Ò Robert: Let`s go to buy the tickets... 

 T: It’s time to go and buy ticket

The 3^rd station. Speaking station.

T: Now, we will go to Astana. For it you should answer the questions according the picture.

1.     Where is Bill?

2.     How is he going to travel?

3.     What is he going to take with him?

4.     What is he buying?

5.     How do you want to get to Sochi?

The 4^th station. Writing station

T: Good we are in Aktobe. So we should go to Moscow. For it you must do the exercise in writing form. You should make up the sentences.

T: I`ll give you pieces of picture you should put it in correct places.
