Customs and traditions of Nogay people.
Цель : ознакомить учащихся с обычаями и традициями ногайского народа; Через презентацию активизировать и расширить лексический запас английских слов. Задачи: продолжить исследовательскую работу; вырабатывать умения и навыки перевода на английский язык.
They lived in the lowlands of the Northern Caucasus, on the banks of the Volga river and in many other places. In the 19th century many of Nogay people migrated to Turkey. And more than 3 million of our people live there. We can find them in Austria, in Germany, in Holland, in America, in Hungary, Romania and in many other countries.
More than 600 years ago we had our own state- which was called “ Nogay Orda” We are Moslems. This was the capital of” Nogay Orda”- the town of Saraichik.
We have a lot of interesting customs and traditions. Respect for elders, devotion to his Motherland and his people, the feeling of compassion for other people the main features of character of our people.
Stock farming, cattle farming were the main occupations of Nogay people. Sheep are noted by our people for their very thick, long and warm wool. Most valued of all was the tender meat of sheep.
“A horse gives a man wings” – says the proverb. Horses have always been very important in the life of Nogay people. This is reflected in the folk traditions and language.
The milk of horses was used to make kumys . This drink could even treat different diseases such as tuberculosis and gastro- intestinal diseases. The milk was also used to make cheese and yoghurt. They say that these food products are good for the complexion and are capable of prolonging life.
Nogays have their own cuisine. Their food is very tasty. Their favourite dishes are khinkal, shurpa, shashlyk, different types of porridges .Nogay women were very good cooks.
The Nogay women were very modest, bnever hid their faces behind the veil (chadra). They were very industriousut they, liked to sew and knit.
Code of behavior. Our people`s code demanded that a younger man must rise when a senior entered the room, even if it was his brother. If the father came in, all his children stood up. Even today the oldest man is given the place of honour at the table, because of his years not his rank , and his voice will be the most authoritative.
Вывод: применение интегративного обучения способствует повышению мотивации делает процесс обучения личностно- ориентированным способствует развитию лексических умений и навыков способствует формированию навыков и умений перевода вырабатывает у учащихся любовь и интерес к культуре ногайского народа.
