Методические рекомендации

Общее время выполнения работы – 90 минут

Максимальное количество баллов – 61


1.Понимание устного текста (Listening)

На выполнение задания отводится 15 минут.

В задании по аудированию предлагается выбрать правильный ответ (верно, неверно).

Текст читается дважды.

Критерии оценивания: За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл.

Максимальное количество баллов – 10.


2.Понимание письменного текста (Reading)

На выполнение задания отводится 15 минут.

задание (1-10)– выберите один из вариантов (верно, неверно).

В текстах может содержаться до 2-3% незнакомых слов, незнание которых

не должно препятствовать пониманию текста и выполнению заданий по тексту.

Критерии оценивания: За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл.

Максимальное количество баллов – 10.


3.Лексико-грамматический тест (Use of English)

На выполнение задания отводится 25 минут.

Задание состоит из трех частей. Первое задание (1-10) – множественный выбор.

Второе (1-8) – на знание глаголов с предлогами.

Третье задание проверяет знание видо-временных форм глагола.

Максимальное количество баллов - 25.


4.Социокультурная компетенция

На выполнение задания отводится 10 минут.

Задание представляет собой 10 вопросов, нацеленных на проверку знаний

учащимися информации страноведческого и социокультурного характера.

Задание оценивается в 1 балл соответственно за каждый правильный ответ.

Максимальное количество баллов – 10.


5.Письмо (Writing)

На выполнение задания отводится 25 минут.

Участникам предлагается задание в виде письменного высказывания объемом

80-100 слов. Допускаются отклонения в 10% в большую или меньшую стороны

от заданного объема.

При оценке письменной работы учитываются следующие критерии:

решение коммуникативной задачи (максимум 3 балла),

организация текста (максимум 3 балла),


Максимальное количество баллов – 6.

Время выполнения: 15 мин.

Максимальное количество баллов: 10

Look at the six statements for this part. You will hear a conversation between a man, Marcus and a woman, Cora, who work in the same office. Decide whether each statement is correct or incorrect. Put a tick, if you think it is correct, or a cross, if it is not correct, opposite each statement.

A Marcus is often late for the work.

B Cora disagrees with Marcus about the cause of the traffic jam.

C Marcus believes employers should provide buses.

D Marcus agrees to try coming to work by bus tomorrow.

E Marcus is planning to have a day off.

F Cora suggests that Marcus is lazy.

Marcus: Hi there!

Cora: Morning, or should I say afternoon?

Marcus: I am not late, am I?

Cora: Only a few minutes today. But you are never exactly early, are you?

Marcus: It`s traffic! There were queues of buses stopping anything from moving up the London Road.

Cora: But that`s where you`re wrong. It`s the cars that make traffic jams because there are so many of them. And most of the time they just have one person in them – like you! At least the buses have more than one person in them. Anyway I don`t know why you don`t come to work on your bike. You`d pass all the jams and you`ll be fitter.

Marcus: I just don`t accept that. What about the air I`d breathe while I was cycling? I`d get wet in the rain. And I`d arrive at work all hot and sticky.

Cora: But you would not if you have enough time to go across the park. It`s really quite pleasant riding that way and it`s not much further. It`s cheaper.

Marcus: Yeah, anything would be cheaper than the buses in this town. If they were not so expensive, more people would catch them. They should make them cheaper or employers should pay part of people`s bus fares. That would cut the traffic and we`d all get to work in much less time.

Cora: And it`d be healthier for everyone, whether they were on a bike or not.

Marcus: If the buses were not too old and smelly. Some of them are terrible.

Cora: And so are cars and lorries of course. So, are you going to take the bus tomorrow, then?

Marcus: Well I might consider it but unfortunately the bus stop`s a long way from my flat so I`d have to get up earlier, and tomorrow`s my day off anyway.

Cora: Honestly, I sometimes wonder how you manage to get out of bed in the mornings!

Marcus: Well, I don`t have to tomorrow.

Cora: So we`d better get on with some work now.

Marcus: Ok, Ok.

A SPECIAL VISITOR

I know some people my age don't really like doing science at school. But I go to a big high school where science subjects are really popular amongst the students. We frequently have special days called Science Days at the school, which are organized by our headmaster and all the teachers. On these days, people working in science are invited to come and tell us about their jobs. On the last Science Day we had no idea what was planned for us - but a real working robot came to spend the day with us at school! It was fantastic!

The robot's name was Gizmo. We were told he was one of the most advanced robots in the world, and we quickly realized he was no ordinary machine. He could do lots of amazing things like walking up and down stairs, waving and even dancing to rock music! He was about the same size as us, with long arms and legs, but apart from that not at all similar to a real person - instead of a face, for example, he had a helmet like a spaceman's. It was very exciting to come face to face with the latest technology!

The company that Gizmo belongs to said it actually took them as long as 20 years to make him, but they think that within another 20 years, he will be as common a sight in homes as a microwave oven. Everyone at my school liked the way Gizmo behaved, as he always said please and thank you, and even fetched our drinks and snacks! He also seemed to know that he needed to stop when one of the students walked in front of him.

The funny thing about Gizmo, though, was that he could do so many things, but when we tried to make conversation with him, he didn't say anything at all. The company that developed the robot hope they can make one that will do complicated things like having discussions, but they think it's some years away.

The whole day with Gizmo was a success. Now lots of us feel we want to go into careers in science and technology - which was just the result our headmaster had wanted. He said the day had been worth all the hard work to arrange it. As for me, I want to become a scientist and learn to make a robot - even better than the one that paid a visit to my school!
