План-конспект открытого урока

 

Тема:  “Gadgets and Teens

Тип урока:  комбинированный( урок совершенствования знаний, умений и навыков);

Форма урока: групповая, индивидуальная.

Цель:

Практическая: формирование лексических навыков говорения и применение их на практике, отработка грамматических навыков по теме FUTURE SIMPLE”;

Развивающая:  развитие у учащихся интеллектуальной, информационной, коммуникативной культуры; развитие внимания, логического мышления, памяти, сообразительности, чувств, эмоций.

Образовательная: формирование познавательного интереса к новым электронным изобретениям

Воспитательная: воспитывать толерантное отношение к мнению других людей, прививать любовь к иностранному языку.

Оборудование и наглядность: проектор, УМК Spotlight 7, презентация в формате «Power Point», раздаточный материал для выполнения самостоятельных работ учащимися в течение урока.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент (Organizational  moment) (1 min) (Слайд 1)

T: Good morning, children!

S: Good morning, teacher!

T: How are you today?

S: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m good. Sit down, please.

II. Мотивация. ( 3)Today we have an unusual lesson. We have many guests. And our friend Harry Potter from Hogwarts came to us.  Meet him, please.

Harry Potter: Dear friends! As you know I have a magic wand and I can travel in time and I want to know about your life.

 

T: Harry Potter, nice to meet you!

 

    First of all I want you to watch а video. (видео приложение 1)                                    (Учащиеся просматривают видеосюжет  о новинках современных технологий, а затем сами называют тему урока).

 

Целеполагание.. T: What will we speak about? 

P: I think we’ll speak about gadgets which we use in our life. 

T: Yes, you are right. The theme of our lesson is «Gadgets and Teens ». (слайд 1)

                                                                                                                                                                            As you know, all gadgets are invented in science and technology. They change our  lifestyle. We use them in everyday life and they make it easier.

Problem questions: T:.What are gadgets? What are they used for? Can we live without them?  At the end of our lesson we will answer these questions.

Look at the blackboard.  Let’s start with warm-up.

 

III. Фонетическая зарядка (Warm up) (2 min) (Слайд 2)

 

Look at the screen. You see some phrases on the blackboard. We are training pronunciation of sounds w, z, i. ð.  Now, repeat after me.

1) I am busy, busy, busy,»

Says a little busy bee.

«Pretty little busy bee,

Bring some honey for my tea!»

 

2) Whether the weather be fine,

Whether the weather be not,

Whether the weather be cold,

Whether the weather be hot

 

 

T: Well done. Good job

 

IV. Актуализация знаний и изучение нового материала.  (Слайд 3)

 

1. Working with new words. (4 min)

T: First of all let’s look at the devices on the screen. Repeat after me: 

 

E-book device

MP3 player

Digital camera

Mobile phone

Laptop

Headphones

DVD


2. T: Work in groups.

Name gadgets that you have.

Brain Storm (Учащиеся называют как можно больше слов по теме)

Pupils: PC (personal computer), laptop, mobile phone, MP3 player, digital camera, i-pad, TV-set, smart phone, i-pod, game console, e-book, play station, headphones etc)

And now Harry Potter wants to play a game with you.

Riddles (Загадки) (слайд 3) (4мин)

Harry Potter: Dear friends! Now help me to guess what gadgets they are.

T: Guess.  What is it?

1. It is a small portable computer. You can carry it around with you and it can sit on your lap. You can use it to connect the Internet, send e-mails, store information. It is a _laptop_.

2. It is a small device that we use to call other people, take pictures, send text messages, connect the Internet, store information. It is a mobile phone.

3. It is a small electronic device that we use to read stories in different languages, make notes and translate words. It is an electronic book.

Harry Potter: You are right! Wonderful work! Thank you!

Teacher:  Which of these gadgets do you use? What for? You have some cliché. Take the card number 1(раздаются карточки) Card #1 (5min)

 

Pupil1:I use a mobile phone to call my parents and friends.

Pupil2: I use a digital camera to take pictures.

Pupil3: I use a computer to play games.

Pupil4: I use headphones to listen to music.

Pupil5: I use an electronic book to read.

Pupil6: I use a DVD player to watch films.

 

T: Brilliant work.

 

V. Первичное закрепление знаний в форме аудирования.

Listening and Speaking (6 min) (Слайд 5,6)

 

Listen to the dialogue. Some words are missed. Complete it, please. (Worksheets) (Card#2)

 

Chris: Hey, Bridget! Where are you going ?

Bridget: Hi, Chris! I’m on my way to buy a virtual pet.

Chris: What are you talking about? What is a virtual pet?

Bridget: Well, my mum says I can’t have a real dog so I’m going to get a computerized one.

Chris: A computerized dog?

Bridget: Yes, Chris, I’m going to buy a puppy, name it, feed it and train it. All I have to do is press buttons on the gadget!

Chris: So when your virtual dog is hungry, you press a button that shows you are feeding it?

Bridget: Exactly! There is a button for walking it as well. It will be like having a real dog, because you have to take care of it every day.

Chris: Oh, come off it! It won’t be like a real pet because it won’t show you any affection!

Bridget: Well… you have a point there. Still I like the idea.

 

T:  Let’s check your work. It’s a good job

 

3. Speaking (5 min)

Teacher: Now, tell me please have you got any gadgets at home?

Pupil 1: Yes. I’ve got a laptop at home and I use it all the time. I like play computer games, especially educational. Besides, I can surf the Internet and discover everything about anything, it’s a brilliant source of information.

Teacher: Excellent.

Pupil 2: As for me I also have got a computer at home. But I prefer use my e-book for reading different books. It  is more easily read the book on the screen wherever you’ve been, than sitting for  hours in the library. I don’t know how I ever live without it.

T: Good, well done.

Pupil 3: I have a lot of gadgets, but my favorite is MP3 player. I also have headphones. I like listen to music. I listen to pop music and rap also. I can’t live without my gadgets.

Pupil 4: As for me I mad about photography. I have a professional digital camera. I try to take lots of photos, especially the photos of landscapes and portraits.

Pupil 5: As for me I like using my telephone. I can contact my friend very quickly and communicate with him or her. Besides I can listen to music, send and receive messages, take photos.

VI. Этап применения знаний.

Grammar (6 min) (Слайд 7)

Well, and now let’s return to our grammar. You know the Future Simple Tense. I give you tasks. Make sentences from given words.

1. My friends will use modern devices.

2. I am going to read an E-book tomorrow.

3. His uncle is going to buy a digital camera next month.

4. Will the students listen to music?

5. John won’t send text messages in two days.

6. Are they going to play computer games?

7. Will robots do all the housework?

8. Flying cars won’t pollute the air in the future.

9. We won’t go to the moon on a holiday.

VII. Обобщение и закрепление знаний.(7мин)

As you know, the villagers of Borobul had opened the Time capsule. There was a message to the young generation. The villagers have known about the life in their village 50 years ago. Then they also sent a message which will be opened 50 years later. Do you want to make a time capsule?

Now let’s send a message to our friends from the future. Choose from these cards with pictures. Fill in the cards.  And you will find the answers of the questions:

What are gadgets? What are they for? Can we live without them?

 Come here and present your work. (Дети представляют свои работы)

What is it? You are right. It’s a time capsule. Will we put our messages into it? It’s OK. I think Harry Potter will help us.

Harry Potter: Yes, with great pleasure! I’m going to travel to the future tomorrow. I’ll take it with me. Good bye, dear friends! I’ll be back next year!

VIII.  Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия.

T: We have some time to sum up the lesson. Answer my questions: (3 min)

1) Can we live without gadgets? No, because they surround us everywhere in modern life.( we use them every day and they make our life  more easier and interesting)

2) What is your favorite gadget? (Ответы учащихся)

Информация о домашнем задании

 1) T: Write your homework: Write  about your favorite gadget. (2 min)

2)  Did you like our lesson? What did you like?

T: Let’s say compliments to each other. ( комплименты)
