Тема урока: Активизация в речи глаголов простого прошедшего времени на примере сказок.

Класс: 4 «а»

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации предметных знаний.

Цель урока: организация работы по усвоению глаголов в простом прошедшем времени с применением технологий коммуникативной игры.


Задачи урока:

Практические:

- закрепить употребление правильных и неправильных глаголов в простом прошедшем времени;

- закрепить употребление правильных и неправильных глаголов в устной и письменной речи;

- закрепить употребление наречий, характерных для простого прошедшего времени.

Образовательные:

- совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи; умение логично и связано высказываться; умение анализировать и выражать свое мнение, описывать происходящие события;

Воспитательные:

- воспитывать умения работать в парах, группах;

- воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка;

- формировать культуру коллективного взаимодействия.

Развивающие:

- Развивать навыки  мышления, логики изложения изученного материала в устной и письменной речи с использованием дифференцированного подхода в обучении;

- развивать умение сравнивать, анализировать, воображать; формировать языковые навыки учащихся;

Оборудование урока:

  1. компьютер; медиапроектор; интерактивная доска;

  2. компьютерная презентация с материалом урока;

  3. аудиозапись, видеозапись;

  4. таблички с неправильными глаголами

  5. Раздаточный материал: индивидуальные карточки для групповой работы, индивидуальные карточки для самостоятельной работы.

Методы и приемы:

  1. Игровой метод: дидактические речевые игры «Волшебные корзины» (подбор звуков);

  2. Наглядные: презентация к уроку – задания на слайдах;

  3. Проблемные: создание проблемных ситуаций, требующих применения знаний для их выполнения.

Приемы психоэмоциональной разрядки: физминутка “Глаголы действия”, релаксационные музыкальные сопровождения


Формы работы: хоровая работа (фонетическая зарядка, отработка произносительных навыков); индивидуальная (работа с карточками); групповая работа (работа с карточками).

1. Организационный момент. (1 мин)

T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you.

Ps: Good morning, teacher.

T: Sit down, please. What date is it today?

P1: Today is the 23rd of December.

T: What day of a week is it today?

P2: Today is Wednesday.

T: Look at the window. What season is it now?

P3: It is winter.

T: Could you describe this season?

P4: Winter is a beautiful season.

P5: It’s time to make snowmen, skate and play snowballs.

T: Good, thank you. What is the weather like today?

P6: Today is snowy and cloudy.

T: Is it rainy? Is today cool or cold?

P7: It is not rainy today, but it is cold.

T: - OK. Thank you. Let’s start our lesson.

2. Этап целеполагания. (2 мин)

Т: - So, I’ll show you a video, that you will see on the screen. Watch it and try to guess what we are going to talk about today. (Слайд 1)

T: - You have watched the video. What was it?

P1: - It was a fairytale.

T: - Do you know this fairytale?

P2: Yes, it is «The Little Red Riding Hood»

T: Yes, that’s right. Now, I would like you to look at the next slide. What words are they? (Слайд 2)

P1: They are irregular verbs.

T: Well, now, tell me, please, what are we going to talk about on the lesson?

P1: We are going to talk about irregular verbs.

P2: We will talk about Past Simple Tense.

P3: We are going to talk about fairytales.

T: Yes, you are right! You know that The verbs in Past Simple Tense will help us to say what we did yesterday and in the past, and also to retell our favorite fairytales. новый год, сегодня вы попадете в сказку, и все глаголы вам пот.

T: Now, look at the screen, please, and repeat after me: (Слайд 4) 1 мин

T: Please, read these words one by one by chain.

T: Good. Now, let’s play the game in pairs. On your desks you can see the cards with the sound, also you can see the words on the slide. So, your task is to match all the words from the slide to your sound. For example, to the sound [ɜ:] you may write the words «were, bird, learn». And then we’ll read them.

T: So, could you read your sound and the words?

Ps : Our sound is [ai], and we wrote the verbs: fly, tried, cried…

T: Thank you. Now, I’d like we to play the game «Bingo!».

4. Речевая разминка.

T: Well, let’s play the game «Snowballing». Do you remember this game? The task is to repeat the previous sentence and to add your word. On the slide you see the beginning of the sentence and many different words below it that you may use in the sentence. (Слайд 5)

P1: I saw a house.

P2: Yesterday I saw a house.

P3: Yesterday I saw a big house…

P14: Yesterday my friend and I walked, we saw a big beautiful house with two small windows and the black cat who sat on the nice roof.

T: Thank you. Now could you tell me, what did you do yesterday? Two days ago? A week ago? (слайд) The words from the slide will help you.

P1: Yesterday I cooked a cake.

P2: Two days ago I went to the cinema.

P3: A week ago my mother and I played puzzle.

II. Основная часть

5. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: Now you will listen to parts of three fairytales. You will hear them twice. Your first task is to understand what fairytale this part is from and fill in the table on your desks. And the second task is to write down the verbs from the slide which you will hear in the fairytale. (Слайд 5 аудио)

T: So, you heard the parts of fairytales. Tell me, please what was the first fairytale?

Ps: The first fairytale was Little Red Riding Hood. The second fairytale was Three Little Pigs. The third fairytale was Cinderella.

T: That’s right. Thank you. Now we’ll listen the Little Red Riding Hood again and you will write down the verbs. (Слайд 5 аудио)

T: Well done! Now look at the next slide, please. (Слайд 6) So now let’s name these natural disasters.

Earthquake – землетрясение

Hurricane – ураган

Tornado – торнадо

Volcano – вулкан

Flood – наводнение

Drought – засуха

T: And tell me, please, what are they mean? To answer this question, I would like you to look at the blackboard. Here you can see the words and the texts. Your task is to match them.

T: Today we are going to read the story about one day of the boy’s life. So, open your books please on page 24 exercise number 81. But firstly let’s look at the next slide and read the words and the words combinations before reading the text. (Слайд 8)

P1: When did the Yungay earthquake take place? – It took place in Yungay, May 31st 1970.

P2: How did begin? - There was a noise, like a big lorry in the street.

P3: What did Juan hear and see? - The cars started to jump up and down. He could hear bangs and screams.

P4: What happened with the boy? – A big piece of nearest mountain began to fly at him, but he ran away.

P5: Was the Yungay earthquake the most terrible? – Yes, it was. Because 50 000 died and another 100 000 people were hurt

T: Now let's summarize the results of our lesson. What are your feelings? What have you learnt today? What was interesting for you? Do you like our today’s lesson? What emotions do you feel after the lesson? Look at the slide. You may use the beginnings of these phrases as example. (слайд 14)

T: So, let’s make a conclusion of the lesson. Let’s answer the main question of the lesson: is the Earth a dangerous place? (Слайд 15)

P1: The Earth is a dangerous place, but despite on it, people continue to enjoy their lives, smile and believe in future.

11. Подведение итогов.

T: Thank you very much. Open your record books and write down your home task. (Cлайд 16). It will be: to find interesting facts about earthquakes for the first group and about tornadoes for the second one. Also you have an additional task – to make a story about any natural disaster, using the new words. Today all of you worked hard, were active and that’s why I give you good marks. The lesson is over. The Yungay Earthquake

 

"I was in school," said Juan. "On the blackboard, in big white letters was the date - May 31st 1970. The letters started to dance in front of my eyes." "Were you asleep?"

"No, I looked out of the window. There was a noise, like a big lorry in the street. But outside there were only a few empty cars."

"What made the noise?"

"It was coming from the ground. The cars started to jump up and down. Then the classroom clock fell off the wall and the window broke.

I was afraid. I ran out of school and into the street. As I was running, the houses started to fall down. The ground was moving under my feet. I knew then..."

"Knew what?"

"I knew that it was an earthquake. I ran to the fields. I could hear bangs and screams behind me. I only turned round when I got to the second field. I couldn't believe my eyes. Nearly all buildings were on the ground. In front of me, the earth was moving up and down like a sea."

"What did you do?"

"Nothing for a while. Then I heard another sound, like great guns. It came from the mountains. I looked up and the nearest mountain began to fly at me!

I ran away and swam across the river. On the other side, I started to run again. A great wind carried me along. Then earth and snow fell on top ,of me..."

"Snow?"

"Yes, mountain snow. The earthquake broke off a large piece of the mountain."...

"How many died?" asked Mark.

"50 000 died and another 100 000 people were hurt. Nearly a million lost their homes — that is one out of 13 people in Peru. I think it was the worst earthquake ever."

Mark looked in his notebook again.

"There was an earthquake in China in 1556. It killed 830 000 people. In 1923, in Japan, 142 000 people died."
