Тема занятия:        «Travelling to London».

Тип занятия:        Занятие закрепления и обобщения  

изученного материала. (занятие-путешествие.)

Цели занятия:

1) Образовательные:

·        обобщить и закрепить лексические и страноведческие знания по темам «Лондон», «Достопримечательности Лондона», «История Лондона» в речевых ситуациях с опорой на зрительную наглядность;

·        формировать умения и навыки применять  изученный лексический и грамматический материал на практике в таких видах речевой деятельности как:  говорение, чтение, письмо;

·        продолжать формировать навыки правильного английского произношения; продолжать обучать механизмам аудирования;

·        совершенствовать технику чтения вслух по изученной теме;

формировать навыки поискового чтения;

·        формировать умение работать в коллективе, в парах и индивидуально.

2) Воспитательные: 

·        воспитывать интерес к английской истории и культуре, 

·        прививать интерес к изучаемому предмету;

·        формировать культуру слушателя и рассказчика;

·        воспитывать у учащихся чувство взаимоуважения и взаимопомощи, терпимость к чужому мнению при фронтальной, групповой и парной  работе.

3) Развивающие:

·        развивать память, внимание, воображение,  логическое мышление, языковую догадку, продолжать формировать навыки правильной английской речи, развивать общую эрудицию учащихся;

·        формировать поисковую деятельность учащихся.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, презентация ( с изображением достопримечательностей Лондона,  лексико-грамматическими упражнениями), карточки с кроссвордом, конверты для групповой работы (с историей, связанной с достопримечательностями Лондона).

Ход занятия

1.    Организационный момент:

    - Приветствие.

    - Вступительная беседа.

    Good morning  dear guests and children today we have unusual lesson. Guys take your seats in our bus. Are you ready? Let`s begin our travel.   

(С опорой на слайд презентации.) “Now can you guess the topic of our lesson?” Lookhere(слайд №1)

-  Конкретизация педагога темы занятия и сообщение основной цели занятия с опорой на слайд презентации. 

Слова педагога:  “And today we are going to travel about London and revise everything we have already learnt about this city, its history and its places of interest. So, the topic of this lesson is “Travelling to London”. All of you dream of visiting London and let’s hope that one day our dream will come true and we’ll see one of the greatest cities in the world.” (слайд № 2)(с опорой на слайд презентации).

 Первая автобусная  остановка «London as the capital of Great Britain».  

Учащиеся рассказывают общие сведения, которыми они уже владеют, о Лондоне как о городе и столице Великобритании с опорой на план, представленный на слайде презентации

Работа с наглядным материалом с изображением достопримечательностей Лондона (слайд № )

Первая остановка London Eye

The London eye is a giant Ferris  wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames,  in London , England.  The entire structure is 135 meters tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 meters. It is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe, and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom,  visited by over 3.5 million people annually.

   Вторая остановка Trafalgar square

It is the center of London. Some people say it is the most beautiful place in London. In the middle of the square stands a tall column. It is a monument to Admiral Nelson. Four bronze lions look at the square from the monument. There are two beautiful fountains in the square. It is the favourite place of tourists.

Третья остановка Big Ben

Big Ben  tower clock , famous for its accuracy and for its massive bell. Strictly speaking, the name refers to only great hour bell, which weighs 15.1 tons , but it is commonly  associated  with the whole  clock tower at the  northern and of the Houses of  Parliament , in the London borough  of Westminster.

Четвертая остановка London Bridge

One of the most famous bridges in Capital,  London bridge is synonymous with children`s  rhyme “ London bridge is falling down….” As well as with history of London itself. Located between the city of London and Southwark   it is well used by the cars as well as pedestrians who after leaving London bridge tube station walk across the bridge itself  in order  to reach the City of  London.

Пятая остановка Hyde Park

Hyde  Park, which  opened to the public  in 1637, is the largest of several royal parks in London that are connected to each other, forming one large green lung in the center of the city. The park is famous for its Speaker`s corner.

Шестая остановка Theatre

The globe  theatre is one of  the oldest London built in 1599, situated on the South Bank of the Thames. The first “ globe” was a typical public theatre in the early 17 th century the oval room, shaped like a Roman amphitheatre, wall-fenced, without a roof . The name of the theatre  got were standing in front of the statue Atlanta , supporting the globe, called the globe
