Scenario of the party “Wonderful English” devoted to the opening ceremony

of the English month

Action purposes:

Educational:

- creation of conditions for unity of cool collective, during joint activity;

- generalization of knowledge of pupils of the culture of the country of the learned language.

Developing:

- development of attention and analytical thinking;

- development in school students of creative thinking.

Educational:

- to cultivate steady interest in the studied subject, the positive attitude towards knowledge.

- education of culture of communication on occupation and in everyday life;

- education of responsibility for results of the activity in team.

Problems of an action:

- development of cognitive interest, creative activity of pupils;

- development in school students of ability to state thoughts, to model a situation;

- repetition and fixing of the main material;

- education of respect for the rival, ability to adequately conduct a dispute, firmness, the will to win, resourcefulness, ability to work in team.

Входят "Иностранцы". В руках у них флаги и эмблемы стран, которые они представляют.

Эльдар:          Рассказать нам о себе
Мы друзей попросим

Альбина:        Познакомиться с страной
Было б интересно!

Эльдар:          Зарубежная страна
Очень привлекательна!

Альбина:        С ней знакомиться пора!

Albina: Let’s meet our guests from Great Britain. (Ахова Марина, Тулепбергенова Элиссия)

Марина: Hi!

Элиссия: Hello!

Марина: My name is Marina. Nice to meet you!

Элиссия: My name is: Elissia. We are from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Элиссия: This is our country. (shows in the map). London is the capital of our country.

Marina: This is our flag - The Union Jack –

Elissia: Do you know why it is called Union Jack?

Marina: Because the flags of three countries are united in our flag: flags of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Now we have a little surprise to you. As we are youth we like dancing hip-hop and now we want to show you. Please enjoy dancing.

  

Eldar: Now let’s greet the guests from England. ( Усманова Асель, Туякбаева Гулфариза)

Асель: Hello!

Гулфариза: Hi!

Асель: My name is Asel.

Гулфариза: My name is Fariza.  We are from England. This is our symbol - the red rose.

Fariza: Why is the symbol of England is a red rose?

Asel: The king Henry III made a golden rose of Province a new flower emblem of England. Also it came from as it is known as a scarlet rose of Lancaster and the White rose of Yorkshire terriers. However in those days the rose was only one of numerous emblems of these families. As original symbol of England it became after completion of War of the Scarlet and White rose when representatives of the Scarlet and White rose concluded the marriage alliance.

Dear friends, we are glad to meet you today and we have also a surprise to you. Fariza is a leader the Kazakh club for English people and now she is eager to show her talent in playing your national dombra. Please enjoy it.

Aсем: Hi!

Жадыра: My name is Zhadyra.

Асем: My name is Asem. We are from Scotland.

Жадыра: This is our country. (shows in the map)

Асем: This is our symbol- the thistle.

Жадыра: Why is the symbol of our country Thistle?

Асем: As the legend says, in 1010 Danes tried to take Scotland. For this purpose they were secretly put ashore at night. Having approached the Stains Castle, they took off the footwear to make as little as possible noise. They reached a serf ditch and jumped in it, without knowing that the ditch was dry and the thistle grew in it. Cries of the barefoot Danes who wounded legs with a thistle woke Scots. Both the lock, and Scotland were saved, and, according to a legend, in the memory of this night the thistle became a symbol of Scotland.

Жангуль: My name is Zhangul.

Анна: My name is Anna. We are from Wales.

Жангуль: This is our country. This is our flag.

Анна: This is our symbol- the Daffodil.

Жангуль: Why is the symbol of our country the Daffodil?

Анна: Generally, an ancient emblem of Wales is not the Daffodil, but an onion - a leek. It was carried on a white hum noise, thereby glorifying colors of Wales: green on white. However over time the Welsh decided that the symbol of spring - a daffodil looks in a buttonhole during the festive processions much better, and made a Daffodil a symbol of the country.

Тунзала: Hello!

Катя: Hi!

Тунзала: My name is Tunzala.

Индира: My name is Indira. We are from Northern Ireland.

Тунзала: This is our country.

Индира: This is our symbol- the shamrock

Тунзала: Why is the symbol of our country the shamrock?

Индира: In the Irish legends it is said: when the baptist of Ireland Saint Patrick brought to Irish Christianity, he used three petals of a shamrock as a symbol of the Holy Trinity. For this reason the shamrock became an emblem of Ireland.

 

Now guys we want to you play a game with you. We have some questions in our balloons.
