Dashing
through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight
I'm
a little snowman, short and fat
Here is my broomstick, here is my hat.
When the jolly sunshine comes to stay
Then I slowly melt away!
|
Slide,
slide, the ice is strong.
Quickly, quickly slide along!
Slide along and don’t be slow,
In the cold your face will glow!
|
Snowflakes
are nice,
Snowflakes are white.
They fall by day,
They fall at night
On
the window ledges,
On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.
|
I
made myself a snow ball
Аs perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
Аnd let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
Аnd a pillow for it's head.
Then, last night it ran away.
But first -- it wet the bed.
|
Look
into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.
Winter,
winter, everywhere
Shows its face, its eyes, its hair
Winter, winter, freezing cold
enjoyed by many, young and old.
|
See
the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky;
On the wall and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.
|
The
door was shut, as doors should be
Before you went to bed last night
And Father Frost has got in, you see
And left your window silver white.
|
Nothing
is quite so quiet and clean
As snow that falls in the night,
And isn`t it jolly to jump from bed,
And find the whole world white?
|
So
softy came the snowflakes down
That no one heard in all the town.
And right-side up they landed too,
As parachuting elves would do.
So when the morning came – surprise!
The world lay white before your eyes.
With cotton roof and hills a-blur
And avenues of rabbit fur
|
Frosty
is the morning;
But the sun is bright,
Flooding all the landscape
With its golden light.
Hark the sounds of laughter
And the voices shrill!
See the happy children
Coasting down the hill.
|
Snowflakes
spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
A veil of wonder laced in light
Falling Gently on a winters night.
|
It’s
snowing, It’s snowing
What a lot of snow!
Let us make some snowballs
We all like to throw.
It’s snowing, it’s snowing.
Let us sledge and ski!
When I’m dashing downhill
Clear the way for me!
|
Tinkle,
tinkle, tinkle! Happy winter-time!
Baby's eyes a-twinkle, hear the sleigh-bells chime!
Each one rings a merry ting-a-ling-a-ling!
For a sleigh-bell fairy hides inside to sing.
|
New
Year Day, happy day!
We are glad and very gay.
We all dance and sing and say:
“Welcome! Welcome! New Year Day!”
|
This
is the season
When mornings are dark,
And birds do not sing
In the forests and park.
This is the season
When children ski
And Father Frost brings
The New Year Tree!
|
Winter
time is full of light,
Winter time is big and bright,
Winter time is full of fun,
Winter time has lots of sun.
|
The
street cars are like frosted cakes --
All covered up with cold snowflakes.
The
horses' hoofs scrunch on the street;
Their eyelashes are white with sleet.
And
everywhere the people go --
With faces tickled by the snow.
|
The Snowman
Come to the garden
And play in the
snow.
Make a nice snowman
And help him to
grow.
What a nice
snowman!
Children will say.
What a fine game
For a cold winter
day!
|
Children are
skiing,
Children are
skating,
Sledging dowm the
hills.
Winter is charming
When it is coming
With snow, and
frost, and winds!
|
New things to
learn,
New friends to
meet,
New songs to sing,
New books to read.
New things to see,
New things to hear,
New things to do
In this New Year!
|
Snow, snow all
around
On the trees and on
the ground.
Who can stay at
home now?
Quickly, quickly go
out!
|
I'm running on my
skis.
White and silver
are the trees.
I'm as warm as I
can be
Try to catch me -
1,2,3.
I'm running on my
skates.
White and silver
are the lakes.
I'm as fast as I
can be.
Try to catch me -
1,2,3.
|
The snow is
falling,
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white
All day and night.
|
Snow, frost and sunshine ... Lovely
morning!
Yet you, dear love, its magic scorning,
Are still abed ... Awake my sweet!
Cast sleep away, I beg, and, rising,
Yourself a northern star, the blazing
Aurora, northern beauty, meet.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year.
|
I
sleep.
