навыка монологического высказывания на основе прочитанного отрывкатиз романа
«Дети железной дороги» Эдит Несбит в различных видах речевой деятельности. Задачи
урока.
Образовательная:
1)
Ознакомить учащихся с биографией Эдит Несбит;
2)
Проконтролировать степень усвоения учащимися
лексического материала;
3)
Развить умение рефлексивного чтения;
4)
Формировать знания, умения, навыки учащихся на
основе разлтчныхупражнений;

на основе прочитанного текста и изученной лексики.

Do you like reading? What books do you like to read? What is your
favourite author/ book? What book did you read last? I hope you’ll be satisfied
because the lesson will be devoted to reading of the extract from the novel by
Edith Nesbit “The Railway Children”.
III.

Last week Iosif got the task to prepare information and presentation about
Edith Nesbit, whose portrait you can see on the blackboard. So, Iosif, you have
only 3 minutes to make your classmates acquaintance with her biography. All the
rest, make notes, please, because Iosif has prepared the task special for you.

1)So, boys and girls, I’d like to tell you about one talented
writer Edith Nesbit. Edith Nesbit is a famous English writer. Besides Edith
engaged political activity.
2) She was born in Surrey in 1858. Her father
John Nesbit died when she was 4 years old. Her sister was very sick, that’s why
the Nesbits moved all the time from town to town. After getting married in
1880, she started writing children’s poems and stories to support her large
family.
3) There were about sixty books that were
written by Edith. All of these interesting books became well-loved by people.
Her well-known stories are “Five Children and It”, “The Phoenix and the
Carpet”, “The Book of Dragons” and so on.
4) But the most popular story is “The Railway
Children”. This novel was written in 1906.
And now, let’s check how you understood everything.

adjectives: loving, reliable, funny, creative, fair, imaginative. (Учащиеся готовят краткое описание персонажей, затем высказываются).
