Introduction of the new theme
Today our theme is «My Home» Part 2
Explaining too much/many
Much – is always used together with an uncountable noun (like “oil” or “water”).
Many – is always used with nouns that are countable (like “table” or “computer”).
Too – is followed by an adjective and we use it to express that there is more than the amount required; it has a negative sense.
The coffee is too hot, I can’t drink it. (It’s hotter than I want).
I’m too sleepy, I can’t drive. (I can fall a sleep if I take the car).
Please, turn the radio down, it’s too loud. (Louder than I like).
Enough – can be followed by a noun or after an adjective. We use it to express just the right amount.
