I’m going to read it and your task is to guess what the theme of our lesson

The theme of our lesson is “Seasons and Weather”.
- Let’s remember
the words which we’ve learnt at the previous lesson. I’ve written
them on the board. Who can read them? Read the words after me, please.

- Different
people like different seasons. What seasons do you like and why? Use the
table on your desk (Приложение 2),
make up true sentences and read them aloud. For example, I like summer because it is hot and sunny. And what
about you?
- Now I’m sure
you know much about seasons and weather. Divide into groups of four, please,
and then describe the pictures of the seasons, using the example on the board (Приложение 3). You’ve got 4
minutes and then one of you must go to
the board and describe one of the pictures.
- Let’s check
what you’ve done.

Let’s rest a little. Some exercises are for you. Listen and act.
You are walking along the street to
school. You have a heavy bag in your left hand. The day is sunny but frosty.
Your nose and cheeks are cold. Suddenly you see a boy playing snowballs. You
put down your bag, pick up some snow, make some snowballs and throw them into
the boy -1, 2, 3. It’s funny. Oh, but what about school? You take your bag
and quickly run to school. You open the door, come in, wave your friends
“hello”. Oh, you are not late! Thank you. Sit down, please.
- So, it’s high
time to speak about your favourite seasons.
- Firstly, listen to the dialogue between two friends and say
what season they are talking about.

- Well done!
- Secondly, you’ve got an example of the dialogue on
your desks (Приложение 4).
Let’s read it together and then discuss what other questions can be asked.

make up your own dialogues about your favourite seasons. You’ll have 5
minutes on this task.
