Цели :

Обучающие:

  1. Совершенствовать навыки и умения устной речи;

  2. Добиться использования лексического материала в составлении предложений, в монологической речи,аудировании;

Воспитательная:

  1. Воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре изучаемого языка;

  2. Расширить кругозор знаний учащихся о СМИ

  3. Прививать навыки самостоятельной работы

  4. Формировать потребность в высказывании собственного мнения

Развивающая:

  1. Развивать речемыслительные процессы

  2. Развивать личностную активность.

  3. Способствовать развитию познавательных интересов к культуре изучаемого языка

  1. Приветствие. Введение в тему урока.

Учитель: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? I'm glad to see you. What shall we speak today about? Try to guess. I'll show you some hints.

Ученик 1: In my opinion, we shall speak about newspapers.

Ученик 2: It seems to me, we shall speak about books

Ученик 3: I think we shall speak about magazines

Учитель:That's right. How can we call newspapers, magazines, books in other words?

Ученик 5: Mass media

Учитель: Good.

II.Warm-up activity

Учитель: What is Media?

ученик: Mass media are one of the most characteristic feat ares of modern civilization. People are united into one global community with the help of mass media. People can learn about what is happening in the world very fast using mass media.

Учитель:What kind of mass media do you know?

ученик: Newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television, Internet

Учитель: What sources of information are the most popular in Kazakhstan?

Ученик 6: In my opinion, it is TV

Ученик 7: It seems to me, it is the Internet

Ученик 8: I think, it is radio.

Учитель: What is the role of mass media?

ученик: Educate, inform, entertain.

Учитель:How do people use the media?

ученик: to recieve information, to relax, to entertain, to travel around without wasting money

P2: The most exciting and entertaining kind of mass media is television. It brings moving pictures and sounds directly to people's homes. So one can see events in faraway places just sitting in his or her chair.

P1: What is the reason for widespread use of radios?

P2:: Radio is widespread for its portability. It means that radios can easily be carried around. People like listening to the radio on the beach or picnic, while driving a car or just walking down the street. The main kind of radio

entertainment is music.

P1: What advantages do newspapers have over the other kinds of mass media?

P2: Newspapers can present and comment on the news in much detail in comparison to radio and TV newscasts. News- papers can cover much more events and news.

P1: What is the difference between a newspaper and a magazine?

P2: Magazines do not focus on daily, rapidly changing events. They provide more profound analysis of events of pressing week. Magazines are designed to be kept for a longer time so they have cover and binding and are printed on better paper.

Who invented a radio ?

Nikola Tesla developed means to reliably produce radio frequencies, publicly demonstrated the principles of radio, and transmitted long distant signals.

On May 7, 1895 the Russian physicist Alexander Popov performed a public demonstration of transmission and reception of radio waves used for communication .This day has since been celebrated in Russia as “Radio Day

Guglielmo Marconi was an electrical engineer and Nobel laureate known for the development of a practical wireless telegraphy system.

In 1896, he was awarded a patent for radio with British Patent .

An advertisment a commercial interruption, where a a thing, a product or a service are advertised . It helps people to choose best things.


A Weather forecast A programm ,where the announcer says what the weather will be like the next day.

Documentary A programm which gives facts and information about a particular subject

Talk show It is a discussion, where different problems are discussed by participants . They express their opinions, ask and answer questions.
