Презентация-квест на тему "A Day Trip To London". Презентация рассчитана на уровень не ниже Pre-intermediate. Каждое задание в данном квесте коммуникативно и выполняется с помощью необходимой лексики для каждой конкретной языковой ситуации. Участники квеста побывают в известных местах города, сами выберут маршрут, проедут в лондонском метро, перекусят в кафе и справятся с проблемами со здоровьем, и т.д. В презентации 25 слайдов. Приятного путешествия по туманному Альбиону!

A Trip Lesson

   Good afternoon students. Sit down, please. Let’s begin our   lesson. It differs from every day lessons. First of all, I’d like to know who is on duty today. Please, say some words about the weather, as we usually do.(говорят о погоде)

   All right, sit down , please . Well, somebody is behind the door, who is there? I wonder… Oh, sorry, please come in. Who are you? (Входят англичане )

-          Hi, girls and boys.

-          Oh, I see there’re many guests  today  at your English lesson.

-          You know  guys, we came from England to learn more about your country. We hope to meet interesting and clever people. We’ re  traveling about Kazakhstan and at last we came to your town.

-           Let me introduce myself. My  name’ s Jane. I like foreign languages very much, and I   think Kazakh’ s an interesting language too. I like volleyball…

-          No , she likes eating very much.

-          What.Mike? But who ate all sandwiches when  we   went to Zerenda yesterday?

-          Not me. I don’t   know who it was. O’k, o’k , don’t look at me like that.  Let me introduce myself. My  name’ s Irene. I like foreign languages too, because it’s very interesting to learn foreign languages besides it`s very useful.

-          Why do you think so?

-          Because I can get any information I need myself using the computer.speaking with native speakers

-          We like your culture;  national   traditions beautiful  lakes of Borovoe  New capital -Astana and we saw many sightseeings in your town.

-          Such as the museums of Malick Gabdullin and Florens Nightingale. The monuments to Chokan Yalichanov  and Ablaichan.Your green Streets

-          And now we came to your college and we`re  glad to see you, students of group number…

-          But don`t you want to make acquaintance with us. I see that there`re two teams in your group. Who wants to be the first? (команды представляют себя)

-          Would you like to show your knowledge of English? We`d like to invite  you to make a journey around some stations they are as follows   the first station of poetry .then  the station of Grammar, the next station will be the station of Games and then we`ll return back to college.

-          The first station is the station of poetry.

-          We know about  your favorite writers as  Jambul  Jabaev, Abai and others. But do you know about famous English poet  Robert Burns?

-          Now we`d like to ask some questions about his life.

      1. When  was  Robert Burns born?

      2. What  do you know  about his family.

      3. When  did R. Burns begin to write poems?

      4. When did he die?

I see you know everything about his life.

As you know, the most   famous poem by R  Burns is “A red  red rose”. I want you to  recite  that poem by heart.

O my love is like a red  red  rose that newly sprung in June.                                                                             O my love is like a melody that sweetly played in tune.                                                                                        As fair art you my bonnie lass so deep in love am I                                                                                              And I will love still my dear till all the seas gone dry

Till all the seas gone dry my dear,

And the rocks melt with the sun

And I`ll love yo still  my dear

Wrile the sands as life shall run.

And fare you my awhile

And I`ll come again my love

Though it were ten thousand mile.

-Your home task was to translate that poem. We` like to listen to your interpretation of this poem from English into Russian (переводы)

-We like your interpretation and now let`s listen to Marshack`s interpretation of this poem.

-Well, please.

Любовь как роза красная

Цветет в моем саду

Любовь моя как песенка

С которой я иду.

Сильнее красоты твоей

Моя любовь одна

Она с тобой пока моря

Не высохнут до дна.

Не высохнут моря ,мой друг

Не рушится гранит.

Не остановиться песок,

Будь счастлива, моя любовь,

Прощай и не грусти.

Вернусь к тебе, хоть целый свет

Пришлось бы мне пройти.

-The second station is the  of Grammar. The teacher will help us.                                                                Task 1.

1). Fill in the gaps.

   1 My mother  …  well (to cook)

   2. The train  … at 7 o`clock (to arrive)

2).Ask 4 questions to the  sentences  in Present Indefinite.

     Task 2.

Fill in the missing prepositions.

   1. I`m very interested (in)

   2. Is Mary married (to) Tom?

   3 .Don`t speak (to) him.

   4. I went to Moscow (by) air.

   5 .I`ll be back (in) an hour.

   6. I have  been  looking( through) the newspapers                                                                                                      7.Father doesn`t like milk( in }his coffee                                                                                                                                                 8.

Task 3   Students   guess what is it

1. We   wear   it if it’s cold (coat)
2. We take it if it’s rains (umbrella)
3. We put it on our heads?(a cap)
4. We put   them  on our feet (shoes)
5. Women put them on the legs (stockings)

Task 4.
Listen to the text, try to catch its main points, afterwards you’ll answer some questions.
The   second   station is over.
-  The   third  is  the station of Games. The teacher will help us.
-  Now there’re some games prepared for you. What team will be the leader in this competition?  (описание  времен)
1. Describing your friend’s appearance. The task is to say as many sentences as you can, describing your friends  appearance .Now you  Timur  and you Tanya   come here.Examine each other for some time then turn to each other with your backs .Start please .

2.I`d like to know who knows proverbs  better .Are there any volunteers  You  Mira and you Arai you must connect two parts of the proverbs into one  and give its Russian equivalent

3. The  third game    I invite one student from each group to come to the blackboard and to write as many words as you know on the themes Weather and Appearance

4 .The  4th game Fill in the gaps in the words written on the blackboard

 5.The  5 th game Crosswords are ready for each group  Lets see who is the best                                The games are over Thank you for the participation

This is our last station   Our  guests are going to say good bye .Say some words please

We liked to work with you but its time to leave you

-We must visit another schools and college in your   beautifu l  town . Oh, I see   Jane , Zhanna  wants to say something for us .Well, please .                                                                                                                                    –Our  dear  guest , Iren and Jane ! We were very glad to see  you  here . We hope you liked our lesson  our   lesson . Our doors are always open  for  you , we’ll be very glad to see you in our college next year .Please welcome ! And   now ,  Nadia and Arai will song a sing for you .                                                                       –Thank you for  your  song !

-We’ll tell about you and your beautiful  town in England .                                                                                                      -We’ll it’s time to say good bye .                                                                                                                                                         –Bуе – bye  !
