D) Teacher pre-teaches showing pictures of food from the TV Apple, banana, onion, tomatoes, carrot, chicken.
D) Teacher uses flashcards and practice food names. Teacher writes the names of foods on the board and reads them; learners will repeat and try to read them by themselves after practicing with teacher.
I) Learners find and pronounce which sound is hidden in the words ex: milk, bananas, apple, eggs, juice.
Teacher gives to learners flashcards of food and learners should divide them into two group. Fruit and vegetable. Learners should come to the blackboard and stick picture correctly. Fruit: apple, banana, pear. Vegetable: carrot, tomatoes, onion.
W) Learners listen to the dialogue very attentively several times.
G) Learners role play using their food and phrases from the dialogue or make up their own dialogues. - I’ve got some milk for you! - I like milk. yum - I’ve got some cheese for you! - I like cheese. Yum Learners listen to and sing the song I like milk

Game. Yum-yuk. Teacher says a word, for example a banana and throws the ball to learner. If it is something eatable learner catches the ball and says yum, if it is not learner says yuk.
I) Find the odd one out and trace. Learners should find one odd thing in 3 things and circle it.
Coloring. Teacher will explains the instruction and learners should follow them. The task is to find the food and colour. Learners should understand spoken English and color picture to correct color.
I) To summerise the lesson teacher gives learners pictures of food. Each learner is given a food to present it before class. Example: It is a banana. It is yellow. I like banana. Yum! |
