T explains the task and asks Ss to give a summary of the text using the phrases in Ex 5a p 67

 

T divides Ss in groups and they need to discuss holiday plans through  role play:

1.Two Ss read out the example;

2.Ss act out their dialogues using ideas from the text in ex 1 p 66;

3.T monitors the activity around the class and then asks  groups to act out their dialogue in front of the class;

 

 To write about a tourist destination:

T explains the task generating ideas for places in Kazakhstan and abroad  Ss can write about;

 

 

T tells Ss to fill in the blank spaces in the dialogue with the appropriate words. Then Ss read it and check as a whole class.

 

Group feedback.

T provides feedback to each group looking at their notes. If necessary, she/he gives comments on the job done by learners.

Ss need to repeat and to write down new vocabulary;

 

 

Ss listen to the T and  translate words into their native language;

 

 

Ss  read the text “Destination. London, UK” in pairs;
