Lesson 1	45 min	Brainstorm: Vocabulary: Speaking:	Show them a picture of a man or a woman. Give them 1 minute to write down adjectives. Elicit adjectives that they already know. 1)      Introduce new vocabulary and practice it (appearance.ppt + vocabulary ex-es.doc) 2)      Match 2 parts.doc Hand out envelopes with cards. Set time limits. Students must match two parts (adjectives and nouns). They have to match as many cards as possible. 3)      “Pen pal” Students will work together to create a letter from a pen pal. Divide your class into groups of eight, and make a copy of this blank pen pal form for each student. Students start by filling in the blanks of the first sentence, which gives a name and age for the pen pal. Then they should fold over the top of the paper so no one can see what they wrote. Everyone passes their papers to the person on their right and then fills in the next sentence which describes what the person looks like. Again, students fold down the top of the paper to hide what they have written before passing it to the right again. Continue in this manner, filling in the blanks, folding the top of the paper down, and passing the paper to the right until all of the sentences on each sheet are complete. Pass the paper one more time and have students unfold it to reveal the letter from their pen pal. Be prepared for some entertaining combinations of descriptive adjectives. Lesson 3	45 min	Game + Speaking	1)      Use Cartoon who.ppt. Divide into teams. Give list 1 to team 1 and list 2 to team 2. Teams tell each a description of a cartoon character in tur ns and guess who is that looking at the board with characters. If one team guesses, it names, e.g. 1A, and the other team crosses the character on their list and the teacher does the same on the board. If the team is false or doesn’t know the answer, the other shout ‘ you miss’ and takes its turn. For hand out use cartoon who.doc 2)      Discussion. Describe your favorite actor or singer/ one can use some extra information. Others ask more questions to guess who’s that. 3)      Play guess who game. xlsx. Each student has a set of cards with people and names. One by one, students describe one of these men, others must guess who’s that, shout his name and take the card out faster than opponents. Only the fastest and that one who describes a man take the card out. Wins that student, who has less or no cards at the end.
Lesson 4	45 мин	Project	Craft: A4 for each student, different pre-cut parts of human face, head; glue, crayons. 1) Show a portrait of a wanted man (use wanted.pdf). Students think who’s that. At first, they try to describe him using adjectives, then, fil the blanks in the text. 2)Explain that they are going to be policemen, create a portrait of a criminal and give a description of a wanted person. They can also introduce a crime that the criminal has committed. (help with some extra vocabulary if they need). They can use wanted blank 1 &  wanted blank 2 3) Students display and report on their criminals.
