Тема: London
– the Capital of the UK
Цель: создать
условия для повышения мотивации в процессе изучения иностранного языка при
отработке речевого материала в форме мультимедийного проекта по теме
«Достопримечательности Лондона».
Задачи:
1.Учебные:
познакомить учащихся с новой лексикой по теме: «Достопримечательности
Лондона» и провести ее первичное закрепление; формировать умения и навыки
диалогической речи по теме;
2. Познавательная:
формировать знания по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»;
3. Развивающая: способствовать
привитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка за счет возможностей ИКТ,
развитию внимания и творческого мышления;
4. Воспитательная: развивать
умения и навыки сотрудничества в условиях парной работы.
Речевой материал:
лексика по теме «Лондон».
Оборудование: компьютер,
мультимедийный проектор, экран
Ход
урока:
1.Организационный
момент.
- Good afternoon, boys and girls.
- I am glad to see you.
-How are you?
- What is the weather like today?
- What can you do in such weather?
- Who is absent today?
- Lets start our work/
2. Начало урока.
Today
we shall have a talk about the capital of the UK. Lets start our lesson with
phonetic. I want you to open your books on page 61 and speak the words of
exercise 2 after me.(Slide 1)

Введение
новой лексики по теме:
I
am sure all pupils of our group would like to visit London, wouldn,t you? But
at first we have to learn many things. Look at the blackboard. We are to learn
these new words. Speak them after me, please.(Slide 2)
Первичное закрепление новой лексики:
Use
the words from the blackboard and make up the words combinations with them.
(For example: the main square, to go to the stadium…)
Lets
play the game “Agree or disagree”. Listen to my sentences, please. Repeat my
statement if you agree with me and correct it if you disagree with me.
Trafalgar
Square is in London. (I agree with you. Trafalgar Square is in London.)
Moscow
is the capital of the UK. (I disagree with you. London is the capital of the
UK.)
Moscow
is different from London. (I agree with you. Moscow is different from London.)
You
don’t want to visit Great Britain. (I disagree with you. I want to visit Great
Britain.)

is the biggest city of the UK. (I agree with you. London is the biggest city of
the UK.)

are a lot of places to visit in London. (I agree with you. (There are a lot of
places to visit in London.)

is one of the most interesting and famous cities in Europe.(I agree with you.

are no Art galleries in the capital of the UK. (I disagree with you. There are
some art galleries in the capital of the UK.)

is not a beautiful city. (I disagree with you. London is a beautiful city.)

Now
we are reading a dialog from your books, ex.1 p.60. Then I want you to answer
some my questions:
What
country is Liza from? (She is from Great Britain.)
How
long will she stay in Russia? (She will stay in Russia for two days.)
Does
she like Moscow? (Yes, she does. She likes Moscow.)
Does
Liza think that Moscow is different from London? (Yes, she does. She thinks
that Moscow is different from London.)
Has
Oleg been to London? (No, he hasn’t. He hasn’t been to London.)
Does
Liza like London? How can you prove it? (She likes London. She says it is one
of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe. Liza says London is one of
her favourite cities.)
What
places can a person visit in London? (There a lot of places to visit in London:
museums, art galleries, theatres, cinemas, parks, and stadiums.)
Does
Liza live in London? (No, she doesn’t. She lives not far from London.)
