Well done! But pay your
attention at names of countries: France,
German, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, the United States, the
Russian Federation. Some countries have got “the” and some countries haven`t.
Do you see the difference?
You are right! When we have the words: kingdom,
federation, state, republic we should use “the”. But there is 1 exception:
the Netherlands.
