Подготовка к ОГЭ по английскому языку в 8 классе

Инструкция по выполнению экзаменационной работы

       Экзаменационная работа по английскому языку состоит из двух частей (письменной и устной) и включает 25 заданий. Время выполнения экзаменационной работы – 136 минут.

        Сначала выполняется письменная часть. На её выполнение отводится 120 минут. В этой части работы необходимо выполнить 23 задания, которые даны в следующей последовательности.

        В разделе 1 (задание по аудированию) предлагается прослушивание нескольких тексов и выполнение 5 заданий на понимание услышанного. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение заданий данного раздела – 30 минут.

         Раздел 2 (задания по чтению) включает 5 заданий, которые позволят оценить понимание прочитанных текстов. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение заданий – 30 минут.

         Раздел 3 (задания по грамматике и лексике) состоит из 12 заданий. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение – 30 минут.

         В разделе 4 (задание по письму) предусмотрено 1 задание, предлагающее написать личное письмо. Черновые пометки делаются непосредственно на листе с заданиями (они не оцениваются), полный вариант письменного ответа заносится в бланк ответов. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение – 30 минут.

Рекомендуется выполнять задания в том порядке, в котором они даны.

          Раздел 5 (устная часть экзамена) состоит из двух заданий: монологическое высказывание по заданной теме и диалог-расспрос (беседа в ситуациях повседневного общения). Время устного ответа – 6 минут. Время подготовки к устному ответу -10 минут.

1.      “Enter a Different World”, it says on the doormat, and this is what you do when you visit Harrods was in Knightsbridge, London. Harrods is “the world`s most celebrated store” says Chairman Mr. Mohamed Al Fayed.

2.      In the beginning, though, Harrods was just a small grocer`s shop. It was opened in 1849 and run by Charles Henry Harrod. His son took over and added medicines and perfumes, as well as a fruit, flowers and sweets. In 1983, Harrods moved abroad and opened a branch in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as airport shops in most major European cities.

3.      Today around 35,000 people visit Harrods every day. It has got 300 departments spread over seven floors and employs over 4,000 staff. Harrods is the official supplier of certain goods to the Royal Family, and sells everything from clothes to caviar. In addition to the nineteen bars and restaurants in the store, there is a bank, a travel agent`s and the biggest beauty salon in Europe.

4.      January and July are very busy months for Harrods because they are sale times. Over 300,000 customers visit the store on the first day alone. Many people sleep outside the store all night to be first in when the doors open on the first day.

5.      “All things, for all people, everywhere” is the store`s motto. The Harrods name means the best of British quality, service and style. All in all, Harrods is a fascinating place to visit.

        What gives the streets of London their unique charm? Old red telephone boxes perhaps? Or double decker buses and Bobbies on the beat? Wait a minute, Bobbies on the beat…? Yes, you know, tall, smiling policemen patrolling the streets and helping you when you lose your way! Great police you might say. But have they always been like that?

        Well, at first, “the police” were just ordinary citizens who didn’t  use to wear a uniform or get paid. From 1663, paid watchmen used to patrol the streets at night holding a bell, a lantern and a staff. But were these “Charles”, as they were called, any good at their job? Well no, not really as they were usually too old and weak to actually catch any criminals!

          It seems that things could only get better! The first modern police, called “Bobbies” or “Peelers` after their founder Sir Robert Peel, appeared on the foggy streets of London in 1829. They were better paid and better equipped with a club, handcuffs and later a whistle.

        “Great” you say, but it was no easy job for being a “Peeler!” They worked seven days a week for only £ 1, and they couldn’t even get married without permission! They used to wear their smart blue uniforms all the time and their tall hat had a thick leather top to protect them from people who attacked them.

       It is still tough to be a policeman nowadays, of course, but next time you feel sorry for them, spare a thought for the poor Charles, Bobbies or Peelers of the past!

1.   The Museum of the Moving Image is about films and the cinema. It's really interesting. It has examples of the first cameras and information on old film stars and. the history of TV. This museum is great for kids because they can run around the exhibits.

2. Bluewater is a huge shopping centre near London. It's one of the biggest in Europe. There are over a thousand shops, so you can buy everything you want. There are also 40 cafes and restaurants and a 13-screen cinema. So take lots of money with you!

In England, many children enjoy playing the game of Ring a ringo' roses. They stand in a circle and then skip around, singing the song until the last line, when they all fall down: Where does this song come from? Many people believe that the song is about the Great Plague of London, in 1665, when about 100,000 people died from a mysterious disease. The roses refer to the rosy rash which was the first sign that someone had the disease.

The first recorded case of the plague was on April 12, 1665, but by July of that year it had spread through London. By September, 7,000 people were dying every week and many chose to leave London. A small number of doctors stayed to fight the plague, but nobody knew that rats were carrying the disease around the city's dirty streets.

The plague continued in London until September, 1666, when the Great Fire of London burned down many of the streets where the rats lived. Afterwards, Sir Christopher Wren designed clean streets for London and the plague didn't return. London survived both disasters and today only the words of a children's song remind us of the deadly disease.

1.    Nobody knows exactly when the Olympic Games began, but historians think that the first games were in 776 ВС Athletes from all over Greece came to compete in a town called Olympia. There was only one event. It was a running race.

2.    The games were very popular. Soon there were more events, for example, wrestling and horse racing. The games took place every four years, for a thousand years. In AD 394 the Roman Emperor Theodosius stopped them for religious reasons.

3.   In 1887, the Frenchman Pierre de Coubertin decided he wanted to restart the Olympic Games. It took a longtime but finally the first modern Olympic Games began in Athens in April 1896. Thirteen countries took part. There were nearly 300 competitors in nine different sports.

4.   Pierre de Coubertin also designed the Olympic rings. Each ring represents one of the five continents and the Olympic flag contains at least one colour from every national flag.

5.   Today the Olympic Games are the world's most famous sports competition. The modern Olympics take place every four years in a different city. In 2004 they were again in Athens. Over 11,000 athletes from 203 countries competed in 28 sports, 3,000 years after the first Olympic Games.

Legend has it that if the ravens ever leave the Tower of London, it will crumble and disaster will fall upon England. It is for this reason that there are always at least six ravens in permanent residence at the Tower. Of course, someone has to look after the ravens and make sure that they are fed and kept in good health. This responsibility falls to the Raven master. He is one of the Yeomen Warders, also known as Beefeaters that work at the Tower of London but his sole responsibility is to care for the birds.

This is no easy task. In the morning he has to get up as early as 5 a.m. to let the birds out of their cages, give them water and prepare their breakfast. After he has cleaned out the cages, the rest of his day is spent guarding various parts of the Tower, guiding visitors and answering their questions. However, he also keeps a careful eye on the birds throughout the day.

At around 5:30 in the afternoon he feeds the birds again. At the end of the day he puts the birds to bed. He puts them back to their cages and locks them up for the night. The Raven master needs to be dependable, responsible and dedicated. After all, it's not just the welfare of the birds he has to think about — according to the legend, the fate of the nation rests on his shoulders, too!

Пояснительная записка

         Цель данного экзамена состоит в том, чтобы подготовить учащихся 8 классов к основному государственному экзамену (ОГЭ) по английскому языку. Материал содержит комплекты тестовых заданий для осуществления итогового контроля знаний по английскому языку в 8 классе в формате государственной итоговой аттестации.

         Тесты соответствуют тематике УМК «Spotlight– 8» Ваулиной Ю.Е., Дули Дж. по английскому языку для 8 классов и помогут закрепить, обобщить и систематизировать знания, умения и навыки по всем видам речевой деятельности.

        Задания тестов соответствуют различным уровням сложности (базовый, повышенный и высокий) и позволяют проверить уровень сформированности навыков словообразования и правильного употребления английской лексики по каждой теме, а также знание наиболее важных аспектов грамматики.

         Каждый КИМ включает пять разделов: «Аудирование», «Чтение», «Грамматика и лексика», «Письмо» и «Говорение». К КИМам прилагаются дополнительные материалы – тексты  для аудирования.
