Let’s check your homework.

Each student should ask one question.

Pick up, put down, stand up, turn around.
Clap left, clap right, clap up, clap down.

Turn around, sit down, touch something brown.


  1. Presentation of the new material

Let’s read the text once more.

Look at the board and write the missing words of the rules.

The rules for American football

  • Players must put a helmet

  • Team mustn’t play with a round ball

  • Players mustn’t kick the ball

  • Each team must have a name

  • Players must put the ball down in the ‘end zone’



Open your student’s books at page 47 and read the rules for must and mustn’t. Then you should explain it me and the whole class.

  1. Conclusion

Now Let’s do ex. B at p.47

We’re going to listen to the tape recorder. You should tick the thins that make a great basketball player.

And now let’s find which one is different. Look at ex 4

The 1st group must look at p98

The 2nd group mustn’t look at p98, but must look at p100.
