The Theme of the lesson: The USA Leaders

The aims: To deepen and expand on a theme. To improve ability and practical knowledge of English on a theme on all type of speech activity: auding, listening, speaking, writing. To increase in learning of foreign language.

The equipments: pictures, portraits of presidents, cards, audio, slides, tapes

Procedure of the lesson

  1. Organization moment.

A] Teacher:-Good morning Children! How are you? Who is absent today? What date is it today?

B] Teacher:-Children come to into the blackboard. I have tapes. They are red and white. Now, the first say me, what is it name of our country?-Kazakhstan. You must say wishes for our country and take tapes please. (Оқушылар ортаға жиналып тілек білдіру арқылы ленталарды ұстайды)

Teacher:-Children look into your hand and who take blue tape sits the first group, and who take orange tape sits second group. ( лентаның түстерімен екі топқа бөлінеді.)

C] Teacher: we have the group ruler.

D] . Teacher:- The theme of today’s lesson is on the blackboard. It is the USA Leaders. From the history of American democracy. We shall revise the material about the political system of the USA, some historical events of this country and its outstanding personalities – great American presidents, their contribution into the history of the country. We’ll practice different kinds of work at the lesson. You will read a text, make grammar exercises. You’ll listen to a text and discuss it; you’ll have to make a test. And at the end of the lesson you’ll dress a hat and discuss our lesson. And who answers correct, I’ll give a dollars, how many dollars collect at the of end of our lesson of this dollars I‘ll give your marks.

We’ll speak about them. Now, you’ll listen the Barak Abama’s biography.

Barack. Obama is the 44th President of the United States.

President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. He was raised with help from his grandfather, who served in Patton's army, and his grandmother, who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to middle management at a bank. After working his way through college with the help of scholarships and student loans, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked with a group of churches to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants. He went on to attend law school, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduation, he returned to Chicago to help lead a voter registration drive, teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and remain active in his community. President Obama's years of public service are based around his unwavering belief in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online.He was elected the 44th President of the United States on November 4, 2008, and sworn in on January 20, 2009. After being re-elected in 2012, President Obama is currently serving his second and final term, which will end in January 2017.
