The theme of the lesson: “KAZAKHSTAN”

The aims of the lesson

Educational: consolidation of all materials about Kazakhstan.

                     to check up pupils’ knowledge;

                     to be able to speak about Motherland; to develop the habits of reading.

Developing: to develop understanding, logical thinking and oral speech;

                     to teach pupils to work creatively,

                     to develop the habits of independent work.

Upbringing: To bring them up to love our country, to be able to protect it and to be an individual citizen of the country.

Methodical: To show inter-subjects connection with  

                     Kazakh, Russian, History, Geography and music.

Visual aids:

  The world  map and the geographical map of Kazakhstan, the state symbols, exhibition books about Kazakhstan, crossword, diagram, sights  of Kazakhstan, riddles, test - card.

Procedure of the lesson

    I.  Organization moment.

                                     a) greetings

                                      b) the anthem of the lesson  

  ІІ. The main part of the lesson: Work at the text

                               a) reading the text “KAZAKHSTAN”

                              b) information transfer (choose the right answer)

                                 c) asking and answering question

                                                

  III.  Mind-mapping (describing  maps)

  IV. Predicting (retelling topics)

  V.  Wringing – up activities :

                               a) Labeling (diagram)

We celebrate the Independence Day on the 16th of December.

 The president of our republic is N.A.Nazarbaev.

3. What can you say about the population of the Republic?

 The population of Kazakhstan is about 16 million.

4. What kind of Republic of Kazakhstan?

  Kazakhstan is a democratic and independent republic.

5. What do you think about education?

 Education is compulsory for all children in Kazakhstan.

6. What symbols of Kazakhstan do you know?

  The main symbols of Kazakhstan are the State Flag, the State Emblem, the State Anthem.

1. What’s the capital of Kazakhstan?

  The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana.

2. Where is the Republic of Kazakhstan situated?

  Kazakhstan is situated in the centre of the European continent.

3. What the size of the area (territory) of Kazakhstan?

  Kazakhstan has a large territory more than 2,7 thousand square km.

4. Named the main rivers of Kazakhstan.

  The main rivers are -4. They are Irtysh, Syr-Darya, Ile and Ural.

5. What does land of Kazakhstan give people?

  The land of Kazakhstan is rich not only in golden wheat, it gives people cotton, rice, apples and grapes, beet and potatoes.
