Self-confidence. Self-confidence is the quality that everybody wants to have. Self-confidence makes you feel better, healthy and helps you to get good marks, in our case. You can say me “You are studying at school, what can you even know about it?”. And that’s what I want to say. Two things that we come to school for are marks and friends. Self-confidence is the most important thing that you need to make friends. I remember one guy who was a newcomer and he made friends with 30 people in 5 minutes. How? He came to the school first, stood in front of the door of our class and greeted all the students like “Hi, my name is Arman, how are you? Hmm, good shirt” “Hi, my name is Arman, how are you doing, wow, beautiful tie”. That is it. He made friends with all the class by making compliments. And if you don’t know, you can also become self-confident person by just making compliments. Get in the mindset of thinking positive. This will allow you to see the good in people and compliment them on their strong points. So how is this going to help boost your self-esteem? Well, when you compliment others you are ten times more likely to get a sincere compliment in return. But go easy on the compliments though, you don’t want to come across as a groupie.
Fears. This a huge reason for low level of confidence in millions of people. Our fears have incredible control over us and affect the way we feel about ourselves. When we fear something we feel weak which is the same as not feeling confident. In order to overcome this you have to face your fears in life. Do not avoid the things that you are incredibly afraid of. The better way to go about it is to face your fears and get to understand what you fear instead of running from it. Life is short to be afraid of something.
Another thing that affects your mood is your appearance. Appearance is the number one cause for low self-esteem for teenagers. All of us want to look good, don’t we? And by mine, sport is what we need to look good. Exercising often is the best way to make yourself both feel better and look better. Exercising on a regular basis will improve anyone’s physical appearance and subsequently their self-confidence. You feel good, you smile more. You smile more you feel more confident, right? SO, do sports, don’t afraid of anything, believe in yourself, achieve your goals, be self-confident and just be yourself.
