  Hello, and my name is Lyudmila. I'm also 16. We are classmates. We study at multiprofile gymnasium in the 11th form. We'd like to invite you to our native place. Lagan is my native town. Here I was born, here I' m living now. I like it with all my heart and I' m proud of it.

  Our town is situated in the South of Russia near the Caspian Sea. It was founded in 1870 and was called Lagan. Due to our warm climate there are plenty of fruit and vegetables here in summer. One can't help but admire our nice cosy and green town.

  I'd like to say some words about our unique nature. The great diversity of life, fantastic flora and fauna. Due to our favorable climate, the hot sun and water feed everyone and everything. A lot of cane constantly produce oxygen and water nourishes the life-giving air. I would call our place a paradise!

  Fishing is not only a hobby but one of main trades in our Republic. Different species of fish inhabit the waters of our Caspian sea and all this wealth ia also for you. You will get a lot of pleasure, excitement , will relax your body and soul. You can take a lot of photos of your victories. Must make your dreams come true. We promise you'll have great desire to come back for fishing. Hunters also have a lot of opportunities to use their skills. Different kinds of birds: quacks, geese, swans gather here to feed.   There are a lot of opinions about the origin of the name of our town. Some people say it was named after a Kalmyk man Lag who was working after the cattle on the island. Some say it was a fishery island named because of soil.
