The quality newspapers Quality papers publish articles on politics, economy, finance, art and sport. They cover home and foreign news with analysis and balanced comment. Their circulation is not large, but their reputation is unshakable.
The quality newspapers “The Daily Telegraph” is bought by educated upper middle and middle-class readers. The “Financial Times” is read by businessmen and it is printed on pink paper. “The Times” is considered to be the paper of the Establishment “The Guardian” appeals to well educated readers interested in intellectual and social affairs.
The popular newspapers Tabloids aim to entertain people. They publish shocking stories, scandals, detailed sport and art articles, a lot of photos and pictures, horoscopes, crosswords, commixes and very short items on politics and world news where facts and comments are mixed. They use large letters for the headings to report sensational news.
