H1N1 is not the same as seasonal flu! What makes it different? Basically no one has an immunity to it. It tends to hit younger people more often. It spreads more easily. Background
Current Status It is unknown how bad this flu season will be. We will have both a seasonal flu along with the pandemic flu (h1n1) at the same time. Expect it to start hitting within 30 days if not sooner. In Minnesota the average age of hospitalization is 12 years old. Pregnant women are being hit with h1n1 unusually hard. Influenza is unpredictable!
What can we do to help people around us? Keep them informed of what is happening. Reduce their contact with the public and each other as much as possible. Encourage people to use proper hygiene techniques. Urge them to get a seasonal flu shot. Have them pass on the same information to their own family members.

Stay at home if sick!
If people come to work, school etc sick? Send them home!
Wash Your Hands!
