1. Tesla Motors Model X
It looks, of course, not like the car of the future, but it was also made famous by Elon Musk not by appearance, but by technology. The P90D model is equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 772 horsepower. This model can reach speeds up to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. The maximum speed of this technological electric car is 450 km/h. For comparison, it's faster than the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4.
2. Lamborghini Terzo Millennio
Representatives of Lamborghini speak of this car as cars of the "third millennium". The biggest advantage of this sporty baby is that charging lasts only a few seconds, since the energy is stored here purely electrically, and not electrochemically, as in the case of batteries. It is noteworthy that the company has only presented an electric car, but has not yet mass-produced it. The company's management sees great potential in this development and calls it the crown of all Lamborghini creations.
3. Toyota Mirai
This Japanese hydrogen fuel cell car was introduced to the public back in 2013. The mileage at one gas station reaches 650 kilometers, and the process of refueling the car takes only 3 minutes. The car does not produce harmful emissions into the atmosphere: only water is released from the exhaust pipe. Like any other hydrogen car, the Toyota Mirai has significant drawbacks. Firstly, its average cost is $70,000. Secondly, 1 kg of hydrogen costs almost $ 8, and if you take the consumption of 1 kg for a distance of 100 km, then the cost of the trip will be equal to driving a gasoline car. And thirdly, building hydrogen gas stations is still a very unprofitable business.
4. Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo
Taycan Cross Turismo looks much cooler than Tesla, but the maximum speed is 249 km. The acceleration speed from a standstill to 100 km/h is 3.7 seconds. You can easily drive 320 km on one fully charged battery.
5. Jaguar I‑PACE.
The value of 100 km/h on the speedometer is easy to dial in just 4.8 seconds, and riding on one full charge can be 480km. It is possible to charge the I-PACE up to 80% from the home network in 10 hours, and from public charging stations with a capacity of 100 kW it is possible in an hour.
6. Mercedes-Benz EQC
This is a completely made from scratch electric crossover, and not a kind of GLC model, as it may seem at first glance. So far, the serial car is presented only in the only four-wheel drive modification of the EQC 400. The maximum speed of the electric car is electronically limited at 180 km/h. The crossover can accelerate to "hundreds" in 5.1 seconds. The battery charge is enough for about 320 km.
7. Hyundai NEXO
From the outside, the Hyundai NEXO looks very elegant and modern, and inside the interior of the car looks decently progressive, and at the same time elegant. As for the power, the car is much weaker than those that are higher rated. Hyundai NEXO accelerates from a place of 100 km/h in only 9.5 seconds, but it is able to overcome 600 km at one gas station. A hydrogen car with a basic configuration will cost you about 3.8 million rubles today.
8. BMW Hydrogen 7
BMW Hydrogen 7 is the most eco-friendly, advanced and expensive car among all the company's models. This car is powered by an internal combustion engine that is capable of handling both hydrogen and gasoline. With full tanks, the BMW Hydrogen 7 will safely drive 700km (on gasoline) and about 200km (on hydrogen). Serial production of this BMW model is planned for 2020. By the way, the company is going to sell it for about $1.5 million.
9. BYD Е6
The small electric car has a very simple but modern design. It is also important to note that the car does not look like an alien on the roads. Acceleration to 100 km/h from a standstill is possible in 8 seconds. The maximum speed is 140 km/h. You can charge the car using a regular home outlet in 6 hours, or from a special device at public gas stations - in 40 minutes.
10. Lada Ellada
This option is very simple and has nothing outstanding, but it is the cheapest. The Lada ElLada electric car was created on the basis of the Lada Kalina station wagon of the first generation. Perhaps the biggest disadvantage of this car is that it will not work to buy it from an official dealer – they are simply not on sale. According to several employees of the sales department in various car showrooms in Moscow, Lada has stopped developing this direction. Of the important characteristics: the maximum speed is 130 km / h, to reach a speed equal to 100 km / h, an electric car will take 18 seconds.
