Horses Communication between the horses are going on without uttering any sounds. They use facial expressions and body movements. Horses differ not only in appearance but also odor. With body movements, expressions of eyes and muzzle, they can understand that their partner or an opponent wants in a given situation.
Horses have expressive facial expressions that can show emotions such as pain, anger, concern, fear, fatigue, agitation, etc. By position of ears we can also understand the mood of the horse and whether it is safe to approach or not. If a horse's ears are directed forward, it says that the horse has a particular interest, but there is no fear. In the normal state the ears are in the middle position.
As for horses’ voice , it should be noted that they are not strongly loud animals and raise their voices only in those situations where they are extremely excited.
Giraffes According to the common misconception giraffes are dumb. They live in open spaces and have keen eyesight, so giraffes can easily see each other and it seems that they do not need voice communication. Just we do not always hear, as the frequency of their conversation is 20 Hz.
In the course of research, scientists in America taped hours of conversations between giraffes. Studies suggest that for 24 hours giraffes emit hundreds of different duration, frequency and amplitude sounds in the infrasonic range.
