  The geographical position
  The contours on the map of England
  delineated by sinuous lines, a repeating pattern of cliffs and coves, and river mouths. Occupying a large part of the UK, the largest of the British Isles , and the Isle of Wight , the Scilly archipelago , group of Islands in Furness, England is an administrative-political part of the United Kingdom .The most Western point of Bishop rock on the Scilly archipelago is listed in the Guinness Book of records as the smallest island with a building (the lighthouse).

Part of the Western border is washed by the Irish sea and the Atlantic ocean, East coast — North sea, Isles of Scilly surrounds the Celtic sea .The path to the white island is through the Solent ,and the mainland from England Strait separates the English channel .The names of the most narrow part, Pas-de-Calais, the shortest path for tours to Britain from the continent, the re is an English equivalent of — Dover Strait .

  Climatic features
  UK climate mostly temperate, but there are small differences between the cold and the softness. Thus the climate of the hilly terrains of summer you'll be cool and quite cold in winter.
   
  The temperature difference in the South and the North of the island is markedly different. The maximum precipitation levels are observed on the North and West of the UK. Spring is the driest period and autumn the wettest.

  The design of the English style garden is reminiscent of the natural landscape. It allows you to be surrounded by nature already outside the door
   
  Mandatory part of the natural landscape is the pond.

  The main representatives of the fauna of England are foxes, hares, hedgehogs, earth-moving mammals. The majestic animals are deer. Many large animals that lived on the territory of England , was destroyed: wild boars, bears, wolves and Irish elk.

  Environmental problems
  Over the past decade, the state of the environment in the UK has deteriorated significantly in both city and rural areas. This is not surprising in such a tightly populated small country, whose inhabitants are concerned about the pollution of nature, the living conditions of wild animals, use of natural resources and food safety. But, although the majority of Britons and expressed concern about the state of the environment, not everyone is trying not to pollute.
