Today at the lesson we are going to: practise using Passive Voice; learn new grammar constructions (if/when clauses); talk about town and country life.

1st type Conditional What’s this? If you live in the city, you will visit museums and picture galleries. If-clause: If you live in the city Main-clause: you will visit museums and picture galleries. Now study the grammar table on p. 49 and complete the rule: We use if or …+ … tense in if-clause and …Tense in Main-clause. We use if or when+ Present Simple Tense in if-clause and Future Simple Tense in Main-clause.
1st type Conditional Look and compare 2 sentences. Notice the use of comma (,). If people stay in the country, they will take long walks in the forest. People will take long walks in the forest if they stay in the country. If-clause, main-clause. Main-clause if-clause.
