Before writing this research work I set myself the next tasks: 1)To get to know as much as possible about different kinds of natural disasters; 2)To be able to distinguish their types, causes of origin and the level of danger;
3)To reveal the countries, where natural disasters happen more often than in other parts of the world; 4)To tell everybody in detail about the global catastrophes, happened in Japan on the 11th of March, in the year 2011 in consequence of the earthquake and triggered because of it tsunami; 5)To acquaint my classmates and the pupils of our and other schools with this actual global problem.

On the 13th of March, 2011 the Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) published the detailed information about the fixed crashes of tsunami along the Japanese seaside. The strongest tsunami with the height more than 30 meters happened after the earthquake at:
These indicators were given by the registering stations of JMA along the entire Japanese seaside. Besides, many regions had been touched by tsunami with the height of 1-3 meters.
