My perfect school Good morning! I’m glad to see you. Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What was your hometask? Let’ begin with your homework. It was ex.58, p.73 . Your task was to share your ideas about perfect school. Please do it! (Some of the students speak about their ideas and get marks.)
Private schools Hampton private school Listen and do ex.60, p. 74 So we are talking about schools and discussing different types of schools. And today we’ll speak about private schools. Open your books: page 74. Right now we are going to listen to a teacher of Russian from Hampton private school. Look at the pictures , listen and complete the sentences from ex.60, p.74. . . . Ok, good of you. Let’s go on.

And what can you tell me about your school and your opinion about private schools in general? Look at ex.61, p. 74 . There you can find the points to discuss. . . . I see some of you have quite opposite points of view, that’s interesting. You have told about your school. What can you tell me about the word “your” ? Is it an adjective? No? it is a pronoun. Today we’ll revise the pronouns that you know and remember some new ones. Look at the blackboard. You know personal and possessive pronouns, but have you heard about absolute forms of possessive pronouns? Let’s read the rule in ex.62, p.74. Now you tell me what’s the difference between these pronouns?... Let’s see how these different forms are used and we’ll do ex. 63, 64,p.76 …

I remember the house but I don’t remember (its, his) number. 8. Meet Mr. Been. He is a friend of (our, ours). 9. Can we use (your, yours) telephone? (Our, ours) is out of order. 10. We look after (their, theirs) children and they look after (our, ours). Ok. You’ve worked very well today, we’ve listened about and discussed private schools, we’ve got to know absolute forms of possessive pronouns, …. have got good marks, and now write down your homework: ex.62, p.74 (learn the pronouns by heart), ex.30, p.95 (in a written form), ex.66, p. 75 .
