Bobby I’d like to tell you about one monument in Edinburgh. It’s one of the best known monuments in this city. It is a monument to a dog called Bobby. The dog belonged to John Gray. When he died Bobby lived near his grave for 26 years. Later Bobby was burred near his master and his statue in the Old Town of Edinburgh has become a symbol of devotion.
The English people. Who are they? Most of the people who have never been to Britain consider the British people are conservative, unfriendly and unsociable. But other people change their mind after visiting this country. They suppose the English people are polite, well-educated. They have a good sense of humor. They are tea-lovers.
