  Madame Tussauds is the most famous museum of waxworks and as well as the biggest one. It’s situated in London and contains more than a thousand wax figures of celebrities, famous politics, scientists and fairytale characters of different periods and cultures.

  A little lonely girl, a daughter of the hereditary hangman, was lonely because everybody was afraid of her family, which is not surprising. Her mother had a lover and that was the reason why she and the girl, as known as Mary, moved to Paris. Her new father was close to the king of France and made wax statues for monarch and his family. Helping her father was the first step for young Mary in wax art. Soon she made her first figures of Voltaire and Franklin. And after a long time her son placed her waxworks it the museum.
