2. Warm-up drill
Let’s begin our lesson. Dear pupils, you know, we have already finished the theme about food & drinks. I hope that al of you liked the theme & you remember the vocabulary of this lesson. Am I right?
Yes, teacher.
Well, if so, let’s write a short picturesque dictation. I think, its very easy for you. I’ll show you the pictutes & you’ll write them in English in your copy books. Is it clear for you?
Yes, of course.
Now lets begin our dictation.
(the teacher shows the pictures of vegetables, fruits, tablewears & drinks, pupils give their English equivalents in the copybooks).
Apple, banana, knife, plate, onion, lemon, juice, cucumber, tea, water, milk, sandwich, spoon, potato, tomato, carrot, Eggs, sugar, butter, cheese, bread, coffee, oranges.
3. Self evaluation.
Now pupils, give your works to your neighbours. & all of you look at the blackboard. Here you see the words. Look at them & check the dictation. (there’s a placard with the written variant of the dictation. Pupils must check their neighbours works looking at the placard).

Read the dialoque in turns then translate and role play it.
Waitress: Can I take your order?
Customer: Yes, I’d like a grilled chess sandwich and a small salad, please.
Waitress: And what would you like to drink?
Customer: Pepsi, please.
Waitress: What size would you like?
Customer: Medium, please.
Waitress: Will that be all?
Customer: What is your soup of the day?
Waitress: Today we have chicken soup.
Customer: That sounds good. I’ll have a cup of soup, please.
Waitress: Would you like to order dessert now?
Customer: What do you nave for dessert?
Waitress: We have ice – cream and pie.
Customer: What kind of ice – cream do you have?
Waitress: Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.
Customer: I’ll have some chocolate ice – cream.
Waitress: Okay, thank you.
Remembering the grammar theme. Children, lets remember the usage of some, any & much, many. Pupils altogether remember the usage & do the exercize on the board.
