The British Museum 1. It's a bridge over the River Thames in London. It can be opened for ships to pass. 2. It is one of the most popular attraction London and one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world. Its height is 135 m and the full circle it makes in 30 minutes. With its position in the heart of London, it is a tourist attraction; a lot of meetings, New year celebrations take place here. There is Nelson's Column which stands in the center and the four lion statues guard the column. 7. It is one of the world’s great churches. A lot of coronations happened there. Since it was founded many kings and queens, politicians and musicians have been buried there. 8. It is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames. Before it was a zoo, a prison, a royal residence, a king's observatory, now it's a museum. It is famous as home of the Crown Jewels. 9. The clock inside the tower was the world's largest in the nineteenth century. The name refers to the clock's hour bell, the largest of the clock's five bells. The other four are used as quarter bells. It weighs about sixteen ton.
