Она знакомит с краткими биографическими сведениями об американских и британских ученых и их открытиях.  Учащиеся узнают имена ученого 12 века Френсиса Бекона, хирурга Джозефа Листера, первопроходцев компьютера Чарльза Бабеджа, Германа Холлериса, Грейс Хоппер, вспомнят имена ученых, которые знакомы им из уроков физики, химии и биологии.
