History of Space Tourism Dreams of space travel are as old as mankind itself: When humans observed the sky, they wanted to explore the universe in the same way as they wished to fly when they observed birds.
History of Space Tourism Jules Verne published “From the Earth to the Moon” and “A Trip Around the Moon”. The "fathers" of space rocketry – H. Ganswindt, K.E. Tsiolkovsky, R.H. Goddard and H. Oberth – each admitted that they had been inspired by books of Jules Verne and other science fiction writers of the era.
Yuri Gagarin is a Soviet pilot and the first person in the world to fly into outer space. On the 12th of April, 1961, Vostok 1 lifted off for its 108-minute flight.
