Geographical location
Canada - the second largest state in the world, occupying the entire northern part of the North American continent. The Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic oceans. It shares borders with the United States to the south and northwest. Canada's border with the U.S. is the longest common border in the world.

FLAG
The House of Commons of the Canadian Parliament passed the Law on the State Flag of December 15, 1964, after a long debate. For consideration in the House were more than 2600 designs.
