The theme: Is the Earth a dangerous place?

Цели урока:                     

Организовать учебную деятельность учащихся, направленную на освоение ими нового лексического материала по теме «Is the Earth a dangerous place?», и выработку умений образовывать и применять в речи новые слова и выражения.

Вспомогательные цели:

Создать условия для понимания необходимости и важности соблюдения правил взаимодействия в процессе групповой работы. Способствовать развитию у детей коммуникативного умения работать в группе в соответствии с нормой.

Задачи урока: 

·        Знакомство учащихся с лексикой по теме «Is the Earth a dangerous place?»

·        Практические действия/тренинг учащихся, направленный на освоение материала и отработку умений распознавать, образовывать и применять его в речи (в процессе групповой работы)

·        Повторение ранее изученного материала

·        Контроль результата учебных действий учащихся

·        Рефлексивная оценка результатов учебных действий учащихся

Before you start reading discuss with your partner what you know about earthquakes. Write down the facts you’ve discussed. 3)      p.24, ex.81 Read the text and answer the questions. 4)      Now let’s brush up some grammar rules. Open the page 25. Study the information about Past Simple and Past Continuous and do the ex. 85 and 86. 5)      Физ.минутка «Crocodile game». Take a piece of paper and write down 1 noun, 1 verb and 1 adjective connected with natural disasters. Put it in the hat. III. Коммуникативный этап	P.27, ex.97 Now, work in groups. Choose one of the disasters, make a poster warning people and tell your classmates a few words about it as a presentation of your poster.		индивидуа льный		7	8
Заключительный этап	So, you’ve learned many interesting facts, words and phrases about natural disasters. Can you now answer my question? Is the Earth a dangerous place? Your homework is: Give a talk on natural disasters.
