Project activities at English lessons
In modern world of information technology and the modernization the question of how to teach the current generation of children, and what methods of work with them are preferred in the modern education system is very important. Modern students know very well how to work with computers and the modernization of modern education aimed at personal orientation, individualization. Today the task of the school is to create an environment in which each student could show their talents, realize their creative potential.
Project activities of students Project activities of students is one of the most important areas of student-centered learning. The task of the teacher in the process of student-centered learning is to identify the selectivity of the student to the contents, note the form of educational material, the process of self-realization and activity.
The Project Method The project method is a pedagogical technology, the goal that focused on integration of knowledge to active involvement in the development of new ways of life. The value of the project method is that it is implemented in the activities. Students work on a project in the groups. Only their personal interest in the results and positive motivation can support the autonomy of the child. No less important is also the fact that the student expand ways of working with information sources: search, collection, analysis, presentation, communication, modeling (including the computer), design, reflection, self-study.
The role of teacher. For teachers the project activity is a way of organizing work with different groups of students, which represents the way forward for each student from a lower to a higher level of education.
