Coffee is world-wide drinking that loved by millions. The coffee tree and its remarkable berries were first discovered growing wild in Ethiopia in the 9th century. Firstly aboriginals ate coffee berries. Coffee soon spread throughout the African world. It was first prepared as a food. African tribes crushed the ripe cherries from the wild coffee trees, mixed them with animal fat and then fashioned this exotic blend into round balls, which they consumed on their war parties. Arabs began to boil the dried, crushed seeds to make a hot drink. Today more than 1400 millions cups of coffee are drunk every day. There are various recipes of coffee. Coffee history
Ingredients:. 2 quarts of vanilla ice cream, softened 2 quarts of strong brewed coffee, cooled. 2 cups of milk. 2 cups of whipping cream, whipped. ½ cup of sugar. 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Ground nutmeg. Directions: Combine the coffee, milk, sugar, and vanilla; stir thoroughly. Chill. Place the vanilla ice cream in a large punch bowl. Pour the coffee mixture over top of the ice cream, stirring gently. Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with nutmeg, then serve. Coffee Punch recipe
Ingredients: 14 oz (one can) of evaporated milk. 2 cups of strong coffee. 1 cup of hot water. ½ cup of pure cocoa powder. ½ cup of sugar. Mocha Coffee recipe Directions: In a suitably sized starsol saucepan, mix together the cocoa powder and sugar. Add the hot water and whisk lightly until smooth. Heat gently for 2 minutes until the mixture turns thick, stirring constantly. Add the evaporated milk and the coffee. Then serve as desired.
Cappuccino Ingredients: 1/3 cup of espresso 1/3 cup of whipping cream froth 1/3 cup of steamed milk Directions: For making the froth, it is necessary to heat up whipping cream for 10 seconds. Then mix in a blender. Pour the milk over the sauce pan in medium heat and whisk slowly at first. As the temperature increases, whisk faster but do not allow the milk to boil. To pour espresso over the glass, add milk and the froth, then serve.
Cappuccino Sundaes recipe Ingredients: ½ cup of strong brewed coffee. ½ cup of whipping cream. 2 tablespoons of golden brown sugar. ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon. 8 ½ oz of semisweet chocolate, chopped. 1 pint of frozen yogurt or ice cream. chopped Bar. Directions: In a heavy small saucepan, combine the coffee, whipping cream, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to simmer, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat, then add the chopped chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Cover and refrigerate until chilled (can be made up to one day in advance). Rewarm over low heat, stirring constantly. Scoop frozen yogurt or ice cream on the top. Sprinkle with chopped bar.
Irish Cappuccino Ingredients: 5 ounces of hot coffee. 3 ounces of Bailey's Irish Cream. Dash of nutmeg. Dessert topping. Directions: Pour 3 ounces of Bailey's Irish Cream into a coffee mug. Fill the mug with hot black coffee. Top with a spray of dessert topping. Add a dash of nutmeg on the topping. Serve.
Iced Coffee recipe Ingredients: 4 cups of cold milk ¼ cup of sugar. ¼ cup of instant coffee. ¼ cup of hot water. Ice Directions: Mix together the coffee, sugar and hot water until the coffee and sugar has dissolved. Add 4 cups of cold milk and mix in a blender. Serve over ice cubes.
Caramel Iced Coffee recipe Ingredients: 3 cups of crushed ice or ice cubes. 1 ½ cups of cold coffee. ½ cup of whole milk. ½ cup of granulated sugar. 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup. 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup. ¼ teaspoon of salt. Pinch of vanilla extract. Directions: In a blender, combine the cold coffee, whole milk, sugar, caramel and chocolate syrups, and salt. Blend on medium speed for 20 seconds. Add a pinch of vanilla extract and 3 cups of ice. Blend on high speed until the drink is smooth and creamy. Serve as desired.
Apricot Iced Coffee recipe Ingredients: ¾ cup of coffee chilled. ½ cup of chilled apricot juice. 1/3 cups of cold milk. ½ pt (part) softened vanilla ice cream. ½ cup of fresh apricots. Directions: Mix the coffee, milk and apricot nectar together in a bowl. Add the softened ice cream and beat until smooth. Blend fresh apricots in a blender until smooth. Pour the apricot mixture into a coffee glass and top with the coffee mixture.
Turkish Coffee Ingredients: 4 small coffee cups of water 4 spoons of coffee 4 spoons of sugar Directions: It is prepared in an ibrik, a small coffee pot that is heated. Sugar is added during the brewing process, not after. Cream or milk is never added to Turkish coffee, and sugar is optional. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat immediately. Pour coffee into small coffee cup and serve.
As for me I love coffee very much, because I can trim it in my own taste.
