1. Good morning, I am Aishat, a teacher at the “Lingua Rich” school and I want to thank you all for joining us here today for the event. Let's greet each other with applause and have a good time together. 

Now, let’s introduce yourself one by one with a thing that you are good at (it should be something funny). E.g. I am Aishat and I’m good at eating sweets.
Nice to meet you all.

2. Ok, let’s separate on 2-3 groups (4 of you and 4 of you…). Please, come up with the names of the teams, take your time.

 

So, I would like to start our class with a few riddles/puzzles. We will watch them on a screen and you will have some time to prepare an answer of your group. The team which gives the right answer will have special points. Let’s get started if everything is  clear.

3. I also have prepared interesting questions for all of you and to make it fair one from your team will take one question from the stocking and you together (each 2-3 groups) have to prepare a funny answers. The team which gives the most ridiculous answer will have points. (The  “…” team takes a sheet the first and read a question, all teams prepare answers and we choose the funniest one and give points to the team of winners. The “…” team takes a sheet the second etc.)

4. Now I want you to pay attention to Mah’us. He has prepared something stunning for us. Let’s ask him (applause).

5. I am pretty sure that everyone of you has own impressive talent, cause teachers of English are the most creative. Am I right? Who wants to prove it?  (If someone of you has a desire to open to us your skill in whatever, we will be really happy)

6. We also have serious but not less interesting subjects to discuss:

a)       Would you still learn English if there was no English in the world?

b)      Is it possible to change one's behavior?

c)        What are the skills that separate good students from bad students?

d)       What is the role of motivation for slow learners?

e)        What role do teachers play in motivating students? What role do     students play in motivating teachers?

f)         What grammar question have you had lately?

g)       Have you changed anything about your behavior?

h)      What should you do with a child who has very bad behavior?

i)         How can we teach our children good behavior? Are words or example more important?

j)         Should you always be on your best behavior?

k)      What do you think it takes to be a good teacher?

a)       I hate working. What should I do?

b)      I am always late. What should I do?

c)       I want to get rich quickly. What should I do?

7. As well as drinking tea at the end of the meals (All Russian know what I am talking about) the good point to finish our event   is to sing a song together…
