knowledge of pupils on the theme “Whose T-shirt is this?” Working in pairs and
translating the sentences.

interest in English lessons.

The outline of the
competition

Good
morning, dear teachers and pupils! Welcome to our competition! We are glad to
see you and we hope that you’ll enjoy today’s game.
-
We’ll
divide into two gropes. The first grope called “Tymak” and second grope called
“Takiya”. Our competition consists of 6 levels:
1. Quickness
2. Word building
3. Best actor
4. Puzzle time
5. Magic seven
6. Best singer
- We begin our game
and let’s meet our participants. I wish you success. Break
a leg!

The
first level: Quickness

you reading? Let’s start.
You will see names of clothes. Translate
it.

The
second level: Word building
These are Kazakh clothes.
1. This is a shapan.
It’s a Kazakh coat.
2. This is a saukele.
It’s a Kazakh hat.
III.
The
third level: Best actor
There are many
words in English. You’ll explain them to your grope. They’ll find their
meaning. Let’s begin.
Following words: Socks, A shirt, A
skirt, A T-shirt, A tie, A pullover, A sweater, A cap, Trainers, A hat, A
dress, Shoes, A short, Boots, Gloves.
The fourth level: Puzzle time
There are two envelopes. Take one of their
and read the poem. Each grope will translate the poem. The grope which does it
quicker and better is the winner.
